Fantastic experience: 저는 이 어학원에 1년째 다니고 있는데 생각보다 만족스러워서 리뷰를 남겨봅니다. 한국인이 거의 없어서 인프제인데도 스피킹이 진짜 빨리 늘었어요. 또 8주마다 선생님과 반이 바뀌어서 여러 스타일의 수업을 경험할 수 있다는 점도 좋았구요. 선생님마다 수업 방식이 달라서 지루하지 않다는 게 가장 큰 장점이에요. 그래서 제가 이렇게 오래 다니고 있나 봅니다. 비즈니스 영어, 스피킹, 라이팅 등 다양한 주제로 연습해볼 수 있어서 좋았어요. 그리고 직원 안드레스 Andres가 정말 친절해서 많은 도움을 받았어요. 어학연수는 위치도 중요한데, 이곳은 시카고 시내 중심부에 있고 학원 근처에 파리바게트, 스타벅스랑 피츠커피도 있어서 점심을 사 오기도 편합니다. 수업이 끝난 뒤에는 미술관, 도서관에 가거나 쇼핑하러 가기도 좋아서 시카고 생활하는 재미도 쏠쏠해요. 알로 요가, 스킴스, 브랜디 멜빌 같은 매장도 가기 편해요. 그리고 세계 각국에서 온 친구들을 만날 수 있다는 것도 큰 장점이에요. 수업이 끝난 뒤 친구들과 같이 시카고 탐방도 하고, 어학원에서 수업 후에 다 같이 아쿠아리움, 딥디쉬 피자집에 가거나 시카고 건축 투어 보트를 타러 가기도 했어요. 이벤트나 파티도 종종 있어서 다른 반 친구들을 사귈 기회도 많아요. 제가 극내향형이라 처음엔 적응을 못 할까 걱정했는데, 지금은 반 친구들이 콜롬비아 레스토랑에서 제 생일파티를 해줄 정도로 잘 지내고 있어요. 좀 더 일찍 어학연수를 오지 않은 게 후회가 됩니다. 제 글이 미국 어학연수를 고민하는 분들께 참고가 되었으면 좋겠네요. #시카고어학연수 #미국어학연수 #GTEducationalCenterDowntown

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at GT Education language school. The teaching is very professional, and I attended two classes with two different teachers. Both of them were kind, dedicated, and truly cared about their students. The first teacher patiently explained and answered every question until each student fully understood. The second teacher showed remarkable dedication—after finishing the lesson, he went around to guide each student individually, making sure everyone grasped the material. Overall, the teaching quality was excellent and well worth the investment. If you are looking to start learning English seriously with high-quality instruction and friendly people and perfect location in Downtown Chicago , I highly recommend GT Education. But personally, I recommend trying to speak English as much as possible—even if you make mistakes. At least you’ll be using English, and the more you practice, the more naturally you’ll acquire the language without even realizing it.

Fantastic experience: I had the incredible opportunity to spend two months at GT Center, and it was truly an amazing experience. I had a great time with my classmates, sharing knowledge, laughs, and unforgettable moments. Negative experience: Called in today to inquire about their TOEFL preparation packages but the guy who picked up the phone clearly didn't want to be there. If you want to experience the opposite of customer service give them a call.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school! The classes they have are really helpful to learn English and all teachers are very kind and skilled. Because when I come to the U.S. first, I barely speak in English and I don’t have any friends at that time. But now I feel my English has improved a lot and I have many friends from all over the world. And they have the activity that I have learned a lot of American and Chicago culture. And even the price is reasonable!!!!

Fantastic experience: 제가 추천할 수 있는 가장 최고의 어학원이었습니다! 시카고 다운타운에 위치해서 버스나 지하철 타고 다니기에 좋았습니다. 그 전에 다녔던 유명한 학원들과 대학교 어학원들과 비교해보았을 때, 가격이 너무 저렴해서 처음에는 퀄리티 부분을 걱정했었는데, 오히려 제가 다닌 곳 중에서 가장 활동적으로 재밌게 영어를 많이 구사할 수 있었던 학원이었습니다. 언어는 개인이 활동하기 나름이지만, 적극적으로 한다면 영어를 빠르게 배울 수 있도록 도와주는 곳이었습니다. 시카고에서 좋은 추억 남겨준 GT학원 진짜 너무 고마웠습니다~~!! It was the best language school I could recommend! It was located in downtown Chicago, so it was good to take a bus or a subway. Compared to the famous academies and university language institutes I went to before, I was worried about quality at first because the price was so low, but it was the academy where I was able to speak English with the most active and fun. If you are active, it helps you learn English quickly. Thank you so much for giving me a good memory in Chicago!

Fantastic experience: My English has improved a lot since I studied here. I met really good teachers and friends here. And I recommend this school. The price is good, and the quality of the classes in the school is very high. I have been studied ESL at UCSD in San Diego and I think the quality of the classes of GT is similar with that classes of school. I'm very satisfied. ( sometime, a lot of homeworks are really helpful... I like it )

Positive experience: Over all is good, but amount of time they advertise and real time of learning time we study is far difference. For example, the schedule time shows 4 pm- 10 pm--6 hrs/day-- 3 days a week --10 weeks/ course = 180 hrs you pay around $1,500 It seems like a fair price. In reality, none of classes keep that schedule time. Teachers start class quite late and finish class 1 and a half hour before 10 pm. Studying 6 hrs a day it is too much, I agree. But why they don't set up only 4 hrs/day and make course to be 12 weeks in order to get 180 hrs as they advertise. I feel, it is not the right...kind of dishonest!!! Beside of this, the teachers have good skills of teaching and staffs are friendly.
