Soko Gakuen

Welcome to Soko Gakuen, the most comprehensive Japanese language school in California, established in 1915. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing high-quality education at affordable rates, prioritizing principles over profit. Our mission is to give back to the community by offering a rich learning environment.

At Soko Gakuen, we take pride in offering Japanese language classes tailored for English speakers, utilizing modern teaching methods and updated textbooks. With a strong emphasis on educational quality, our small class sizes allow our dedicated bilingual instructors to provide personalized attention to each student.

With an enrollment of approximately 250 adults and 50 children, Soko Gakuen also serves as a teacher training school, ensuring the highest standards in language instruction. We strive to keep our tuition rates as low as possible without compromising the quality of education.
