Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my Spanish classes through Easy Spanish Para Ti. I take classes with Grace, who is a great teacher! She is extremely knowledgable about grammar and the language. More importantly, she is patient, kind, and engaging. Stephanie does a great job organizing the classes including a variety of community events. The class timings are convenient and I like the group sizes and composition. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about learning or maintaining their Spanish!

Fantastic experience: Stephanie has been teaching both of my daughters Spanish weekly for the last couple of years. They both love going to lessons, and Stephanie keeps them engaged by incorporating books, creative writing, art, etc. into their lessons. She works with them on reading/writing as well as speaking. We highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking 1:1 private Spanish lessons with Stephanie for about a year, and she has been amazing. She has helped me improve my comprehension, reading, writing, and speaking skills, and I’ve seen a lot of progress since we started working together. Her lessons are always engaging and tailored to my level and goals, which has made learning Spanish feel much more approachable and enjoyable. She is incredibly supportive, patient, and kind throughout the learning process, and she creates a comfortable environment where it’s easy to practice speaking and make mistakes while learning. She is also very accommodating with schedule changes and truly cares about making sure her students succeed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve or start their Spanish!

Negative experience: This person is extremely unprofessional do not take these classes if you’re black! She singled me out in class multiple times and had every other person in the class participate except me when I faced a family emergency she didn’t not text back until hours after the class and when I brought up me no longer feeling comfortable to move forward she offered me a refund and after 18 days I still have not received a refund and when I reached back out she said she is not going to process a refund. Very unprofessional behavior.

Fantastic experience: A Truly Transformative Spanish Learning Experience! Attending this language school was one of the best decisions I've made in my journey to learn Spanish. Grace and Stephanie are the best! I met with Grace everyday for a number of months and went from the beginner level (A1) to the advanced level (C1). Grace had an incredibly well-structured curriculum-starting with foundational grammar and vocabulary, then gradually building toward more advanced conversation and comprehension. Each lesson and module was thoughtfully designed to reinforce key concepts, while introducing new material at a manageable pace. The lectures were very engaging and highly interactive. Grace not only is a native speaker but also a certified language educator. She has a lot of patience and boy did I mess up a lot! Grace gave me the tools to speak with greater confidence and clarity. Every day we met, she created a supportive and motivating learning environment. One of the biggest benefits was the strong emphasis on vocabulary building and grammar. The immersion aspect-through cultural lessons, conversational practice, and real world scenarios, was what truly brought the language to life and Grace made sure of that. I wasn't just learning Spanish 1 one 1 in the classroom, I was living it. Every week, Grace and I would walk over to the local farmers market or have lunch at nearby Peruvian restaurants, where I would converse with locals in Spanish, order food in Spanish, or purchase local fruit, while employing the tools I learned in the classroom in real life convos. Thanks to Grace, I now feel confident engaging in Spanish in both professional and personal settings. I'm so grateful for the solid foundation ESPT gave me, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone serious about becoming fluent. Grace and Stephanie are the real MVPs!

Fantastic experience: Interactive, engaging and creative Spanish courses. Really it's more than learning Spanish, you're also being immersed in Latin culture and they also plan fun events throughout the year like Spanish movie nights, latin food tasting, etc.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking Spanish classes for around 9 months. I've attempted to learn Spanish many times over the years including another conversational group. The difference with this one is how much fun it is. I wasn't expecting to build a community of people but with our teacher Grace, it's so enjoyable. I feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and speak in Spanish. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love taking classes at Easy Spanish Para Ti! I took the intermediate class (1.5 hours on Wednesday evenings) and it was a great blend of group conversations, one on one conversations, and some grammar or listening exercises. Stephanie makes the class very engaging and fun- and she keeps you in the know with fun events going on in the area! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Esta escuela es buenissimo! I took a one month beginner Spanish course here, 1.5hrs a week with a private tutor (Hola Stephanie!) and a 1.5hr a week with a group class (Hola Luisa!). The teachers were really awesome and engaging and did a great job of making the classes fun and informative. Having a professional teacher is a lot more helpful than duolingo or an online part-time teacher. I improved my Spanish a lot in only a month. If I was staying in the area longer I would love to take more classes! Muchas Gracias Easy Spanish Para Ti!

Fantastic experience: The team is extremely patient and kind! After a few weeks, I can already notice an increased understanding of Spanish. It feels like a small family when I go to group classes and Stephanie has been extremely flexible with my schedule. I found this place on Google and it has been a GREAT decision!

Fantastic experience: I love taking group classes with Stephanie! I wanted to take adult Spanish class in a group setting to get comfortable speaking casually in Spanish, as opposed to learning "textbook" Spanish. Stephanie is very personable and encourages speaking, writing and listening in her classes. Spanish class doesn't feel like "work," it feels like a fun club to hang out at! I also like the 1/week timing of our group class, it's perfect for not feeling overwhelmed but also enough of a reason to practice Spanish in between classes.

Fantastic experience: I started studying 1-1 with Stephanie in private lessons with zero knowledge in Spanish and after getting to B1 level Spanish joined a group class for ongoing conversation and learning. Stephanie is fun, knowledgeable, and great at formal classes, conversations, and local events to continue building your language skills.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie and her team of Spanish teachers are incredible. Both my son and I were each able to take 1-1 classes that were personalized for us. When not taking a class, I was able to bring my laptop and work from where the classes are held: a super stylish and comfy WeWork downtown. I highly recommend this team if, like us, you’ve decided it’s time to learn Spanish!

Fantastic experience: Stephanie is the BEST y'all! She's kind and generous and she's a great teacher. I like the social setting of the group classes. We put in the work but have fun too with stuff like translating spanish language pop songs and comparing cultural differences. Te recomiendo la clase

Fantastic experience: I've been taking classes with Stephanie for nearly a year and I have learned so much Spanish during that time! Group Spanish classes provides a great opportunity to practice Spanish with similarly skilled students and Stephanie goes the extra mile to make sure everyone feels included. A neat plus is that classes are pretty fun! We end a lot of classes listening to Spanish songs! :D I've also done a few private lessons which helped me focus on parts that I am weak at or need refreshing. Like I keep mixing up preterite vs imperfect and had some lessons focused on these grammar skills. Overall, I highly recommend taking classes for anyone who is hoping to improve their Spanish speaking skills.

Fantastic experience: Easy Spanish Para Ti is the best place to study Español if you are in the bay area! I have dabbled with language learning for many years and I can honestly say that taking these classes, with Stephanie, has been one of the best things that I have done. Classes here are informative yet engaging on a very meaningful level. One thing I've always appreciated is the fact that we often end up talking about our personal lives in a way that is beyond surface level. I can notice the difference in my ability to express myself in Spanish, all thanks to the classes here. Fantastic experience: Stephanie is a great teacher! She is really responsive to the class, constantly asks for feedback and will adjust her lesson structure immediately based on the feedback we would give her, and is great at being flexible with schedules, locations, and times. She encourages active participation and conversation without being judgemental, which helped me become more comfortable talking in class and actually practicing conversational skills. I really appreciate that she also coordinates community events, updates students on interesting things happening around Oakland and Berkeley, and is dedicated to make learning Spanish with her a community activity.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie and her team exemplify what language learning should be!! i've been studying Spanish on and off for more than two decades. Until taking classes with Stephanie, i thought the only way to REALLY learn was immersion (i.e., living in a Spanish speaking culture). But Stephanie has a brilliant way of generating a space for engaging with all the different facets of language, including plenty of textbook-y vocabulary and grammar study, but also layering in art, culture, food, history through listening and dialogue exercises. And even optional community culture nights with movies, food, music! What really puts Stephanie above the rest is WHY she teaches. Her mission - as i understand it - is to remove language barriers and foster learning communities amongst Bay Area cultures. To foster a sense of Belonging for immigrants, providing greater access to opportunities... because more people are speaking the same language! Sign me up.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed and learned a lot from taking Spanish classes with Stephanie. Even throughout COVID restrictions, Stephanie continued our classes on Zoom, made them engaging with writing, reading, and listening activities, and promoted conversations about our daily activities, interests, and opinions. What I learned was always very relevant for actual conversations in Spanish, but Stephanie also takes time to explain grammar and structure to you (this is how I learn best, so it was a great combination). I had fun during the classes and Stephanie would always share music, movie, and other media recommendations to promote learning outside of the class. I participated for about 1.5 years - recently I was super encouraged when my mother-in-law visited and we were able to actually communicate quite effectively in Spanish the whole week! The experience overall has made me more confident and willing to practice my skills and I look forward to continued learning!

Fantastic experience: I’ve leaned to speak Spanish with more ease, and speaking with a tutor out loud really helps with becoming better at the language itself. I also appreciate the way Stephanie teaches, we talk in Spanish about our daily lives because that is something that is relevant when speaking to someone. Not just grammar and books.

Her classes are organized with interactive lesson plans and materials, and she encourages conversation in a fun and non-judgmental way. The private lessons have been good for improving my grammar, and the conversation classes are good for gaining confidence with speaking. I also like that she facilitates community-building among her students with occasional potlucks and Spanish movie night. Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of studying with Stephanie for several years. I am so glad that she has her own business now. She meets me where my Spanish is, continually positively encourages me, and is inventive in her teaching style. I started when I was 50, thinking I was too old to learn, and now realize that was only a limit in my mind.
