Negative experience: Owner was always nice to me until i decided to go to college. I'll never forget her face changed and she said: you're not ready for college! I'm in college today and doing well. This school is fake. They pretend to be family but they're interested in keep you there not your growth. It's ok we all know it's for profit but all that fake "warmth" is unncessary. Everybody can see it what she's really about

Fantastic experience: This school has been an amazing experience for me. I have learned a lot of English here, and the teachers are incredible. They are supportive, kind, and always willing to help. The owner of the school is also fantastic and creates a very warm and friendly environment. Being here makes me feel like I’m at home ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have to be honest and say that this school is incredible. The people are friendly and the teachers are very kind. What I find curious is seeing bad reviews from people who I'm sure have never studied here. This is a school that functions like a family. And it's a place where you come to learn. It's a place that is attentive to the students. By far the best school in Newark.

Negative experience: this school is a joke kkkk... we had this sub teacher jucara that couldnt speak english super low energy made lots of pronunciation mistakes AND was a f1 student like us kkkk... we were all laughing during the break... its crazy. i transferred and so many others did too...

Negative experience: This school is pure chaos! Administrately speaking and educationally speaking. I wanted to finish the level and the teacher/owner traveled and when she came back, it took another month to finish it disrupting the calendar, the sub teacher just didn’t care to cover the content (no planning was given to him obviously), he left a month later too. The teachers seem miserable, I don’t blame them. Everybody talks about the owner behind her back (but are nice to her face so nothing ever changes). They also make mistakes with your attendance and don’t seem to have a system in place. Plus the change of teachers, the last minute merging of classes, you can see she’s always sweating in panic mode

Negative experience: I’ll keep this real: Links is a school for “students” who are in the country only to maintain their visa. If you want to learn, Links is NOT for you. The owner travels abroad every other month and merges classes so all of a sudden we’re playing mindless games instead of covering content for days on end. My problem is for somoene who says she loves to teach so much, it’s a lot of time off she takes. And the school when she’s away has no coordinator or director (big mess!). That’s when students take over. If they say let’s go have coffee now, then the teacher is like ok no problem. I understand she wants to save money by merging classes when she goes away, but we’re not paying to be lumped with students from different levels because she chose not to have a sub teacher so she can save even more money. So you’ve been warned: if you want to waste your time and money, go to Links. Every single student that loves that school is that type of student with no future in this country. They have no plans, they’re just there waiting for god knows what, something to happen I guess. It’s sad to watch.

Negative experience: Terrible school, so disorganized. I'm glad I left!!!! Teachers are mediocre lazy and make mistakes. Methodology is old. They insist on drilling names of grammar terms in you which is not useful when your in the real world and need to speak!!!! Classes are so boring confusing with all that grammar and lots of killing time with little parties that mean nothing

Fantastic experience: The best place where you can learn English is definitely Links English Institute I'll give you a few reason why you should study here: This school has a big variety of teachers whose skills are excellent and they are very disciplined,dedicated and knowledgeable . in addition, you can also learn how to understand many people accents since there's an immense number of students from everywhere such as Europeans, south and central Americans, Arabic and Africans .to conclude, i am an student who started from level 2 here and I've learned not only how to speak English , but also how to write grammar properly and to pronounce words accurately. also I took the Tesol course here literally ( teaching English to speakers from another language). To whom is interested in learning the proper English I would recommend enrolling this school. I'm quite sure you will be understood everywhere you go after you learn English here.
