Fantastic experience: I tried several times over my life to learn Spanish, but it never took. At school, via tapes, via various apps. Now that I am working with Ahsan weekly, in three months I've developed a real vocabulary. I can understand the fairly complicated stories we read together, and I'm able to read back some of our earlier lessons with increasing skill and comprehension. This is by far the most I've learned. After four months I will have a vocabulary of roughly 2000 words. Reading builds comprehension, showcases the quick method to change any word with quick endings. When I read back older material to Ahsan, I work on pronunciation, translation and precision. Much better than I ever progressed via the other methods I've tried. At 57, never too old to finally aprende neuvos trucos.

Fantastic experience: I started taking routine Spanish lessons prior to enrolling in a class at LIG, and found that the typical Spanish class did not move nearly fast enough or provide me with sufficient information to allow me to advance quickly. When I learned about the approach LIG uses, it seemed completely intuitive to me - after all, this is how all of us learned English as a first language! The graded reader method exposes you to so much more than just "vacation" Spanish - it really develops your familiarity with and understanding of the language, which moves you closer to fluency much more quickly. After only 6 weeks in this non-traditional class, I advanced at least twice as far as traditional class would have taken me, according to traditional placement tests. The effectiveness of this method depends a lot on the student's willingness to invest time and effort - you can't become fluent in a language by the silver spoon method. If you are dedicated to reading and doing the suggested activities between classes and committed to developing your understanding of the language as a first step toward speaking fluently, then this is the class for you!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking Spanish for the past few months. I am 47 years old and have tried learning Spanish unsuccessfully many times in the past - with Ahsan's method I have noticed a significant improvement already! I am motivated to read short stories between our classes as I do find reading has been an amazing way to build vocabulary as its entertaining at the same time. Although I can understand written Spanish much better than I can speak, I can see how that will come with time. I am already understanding people speaking Spanish much better than I was able to before. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This was the best decision choosing the Language Institute of Georgia. I have a very basic word knowledge base and have tried using apps and very well-known expensive programs with the hopes of eventually becoming fluent. Nothing has come even close to this instruction. Using the graded reader method has been astoundingly effective and the instructor is the most patient and explains every thing you ask. He literally goes LINE BY LINE through the book. He is extremely knowledgeable and has been incredibly flexible and understanding when I had sudden schedule changes. It's easy to see that he genuinely wants you to learn the language. If you're on the fence about what route to take in your journey to fluency, don't be. This is the way to go!
