Negative experience: No la recomiendo. Estaba haciendo el proceso para el cambio de estatus y aunque se que puede ser negado La razón por la que fue negado dependió 100% del instituto. Me dieron un I-20 con una fecha, e inmigración no me había respondido para cuando la fecha se cumplió. Me comunique por teléfono y fui dos veces a la oficina para que me actualizaran la fecha. Tres intentos y siempre me dijeron que no era necesario. Me fui del instituto siempre pensando que algo estaba mal. En la pagina siempre había la opción - update documents. Una semana después de que fui, me negaron el cambio y la razón era -“Date expired” Sentí mucha frustración porque hice lo posible porque me cambiaran la fecha y no quisieron. Perdí la oportunidad de hacer un cambio de estatus a estudiante por la negligencia de la academia y sus trabajadores.

Fantastic experience: La escuela cuenta con varios programas de enseñanza del idioma inglés. Desde intensivo hasta una area en especifico, si deseas un tutor especializado o personal aquí puedes encontrar uno que se adapte a tu horario en la tarde, noche o fines de semana. Realizan diferentes actividades y se comparte diferentes experiencias de diversas culturas.

Fantastic experience: I’m Allan Silva from Costa Rica, and I started at this school a year and a half ago. It has been a great experience I’ve met many people from different countries and had the privilege of learning from excellent teachers who helped me improve my English skills. The director, Miss Julie, and her team are outstanding at what they do. This school has not only been a place to learn English, but also a life experience. The teachers Mr. Tim, Miss Katy, Miss Lauralee, Miss Jennifer, and Mr. Greg are all amazing, each bringing different experiences and teaching styles to the classroom. Each of them leaves a mark on you in a unique way. I remember a quote from a TEDx Pura Vida talk by Álvaro González Alorda that said: “Teach me something I can’t learn on Google.” Without a doubt, this school does exactly that. While all the teachers have been excellent, for me personally, the support I received from my director Miss Julie, along with Mr. Tim, Miss Katy, and Miss Jennifer, really stood out. Meeting people from so many different countries also helped me broaden my perspective and learn about other cultures, creating a sense of connection and affection with everyone. I truly recommend this school, and I hope that both my classmates and my teachers continue to grow and achieve their personal and professional goals. As the Stoic philosopher Epictetus once said: “Only the educated are free.” May we all continue learning, growing, and walking with wisdom toward the life we want to build.

Fantastic experience: Don't think two times before joining AEI. All the staff is very helpful with anything you need, specially Jenny. She helps new and already AEI students. Not only will you learn English from native speakers, but practice it outside the classroom too. Fantastic experience: My experience with the USMLE program at AEI was awesome. It is an incredible institute for any dedicated student to achieve their goals of completing the USMLE Steps and transitioning into their future endeavors. The staff and faculty are very supportive of students, providing valuable USMLE resources including question banks, videos, regular assessments, and even residency interview training. I couldn't have asked for a better program! I will definitely miss the warm welcome and hospitality of everyone at the institute.

Fantastic experience: AEI it's a good institute to learn English. I spent 4 month improving my english there and all the people who work there are incredible, especially Jenny Vega the coordinator. She was always helping me in everything I needed.

Negative experience: The worst institution I've ever seen in my life. If I could give this school a lower rating than one trust me I would. The DSO refused to transfer me and my brothers sevis record to my new school and made us miss our deadline and as I asked her why she wouldn't transfer us she threatened to terminate our sevis record and told us to leave her office. She didn't even let us talk our give us a reason. The DSO in the new school where we were joining told us that AEI has terminated sevis records before for asking for a transfer and just told us to go to school. At first there all smiles and laughter but once they get you in the door and get you're money they don't care about you. I don't recommend that no one joins this institute there are other schools in Atlanta that give out I-20 and that are also much cheaper than AEI if you're on an f-1 visa. Please please spread the word so what happened to me, my brother and countless of other people won't happen to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I'm student from Japan. AEI is the excellent institute, the teachers are very patient and easy to ask questions. Also the admission coordinator Jenny Vega is really sweet and very helpful. Japan and US have a despite the time difference but she always respond my message immediately and help me everything. I have no regrets. AEI has a lot of fun activity too. The atmosphere of the class is very good and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Coming from another country I chose AEI because I learned of its long reputation of helping foreign students learn English. Meeting new people at AEI was a wonderful and pleasant experience. From the first and even now, Miss Barbara, Miss Salima, Miss Shaheena provided all the information and direction I needed very promptly. The instructors are most knowledgeable and patient. Mr. Tim, Mr Greg, Dr. Joel take genuine interest in each student. AEI gives abundant help for really motivated students. The small classes, the experienced and knowledgeable teachers are wonderful, and patient. The friendly atmosphere of small classes, the cafeteria, and games room gave me chances to meet students from other countries. Talking with other students and their experiences at AEI, I knew I made the right choice by taking the advice of a relative who also went there. I remember sharing about cultures, histories, professions, ideas from other international students in the class. I learned about American history, food, places to visit from our instructors. Also playing interactive games and lessons were really fun. I am restarting my career in America and it is a big transition to start again in another country. After a thorough search of numerous schools on the web, I decided to visit Atlanta English Institute and to find out more about the school. Ms. Salima was very welcoming and helpful with explaining all the necessary information and getting everything ready for obtaining the Form I-20. The school seemed very cozy and welcoming. Once I started studying at school, I knew that my first impression was correct. The classes are pretty small, which gives every student a possibility to fully participate in the activities provided by the teachers. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The teachers at AEI are trying to not only teach you, but they also try to become your friends. Those students who desire to have English classes going hand in hand with modern technology, might be disappointed, as the school sometimes lacked advanced technological gadgets which might have helped with learning. I started studying at IEP Level 4 and studied all the way through Level 7. I met amazing people from all over the world, some of whom, I believe, will be my lifelong friends. I am grateful to AEI for the possibility of improving my English and for the chance of finding great friends!!!

Fantastic experience: To be honest, I did not expect too much about this school before I attended here, but this school actually impressed me by its excellent and professional teaching level and friendly and amicable atmosphere. AEI has many experienced and skilled teachers, which is very rare to see in other English institutes, many of them have master or even doctor degree. Teachers here are more like college teachers, showing students more about how to think deeply, rather than just focus on knowledge in books. My teacher always recommends books and movies that are very profound and deep to me. Staffs are very nice and helpful, always willingly to answer any question you have. And also, you can make a lot of friends from many other countries!

Fantastic experience: The Atlanta English Institute offers a wide variety of classes. I taught at A.E.I. for three years, and in that time, I had the opportunity to teach English as a second language, GRE and GMAT test preparation, U.S. government, and college writing. I also spoke with a variety of students, and I can say with certainty that A.E.I.’s curriculum, instructors, and administrative staff do an excellent job educating students in a comfortable environment. A.E.I. is not for every student. To the student who is ready to go to college and confident in his ability to write college-level essays of up to ten pages, I would say it is better to enter directly into college. However, for the students who are not ready for college in the U.S.—and most aren’t, in my experience—, A.E.I. is the perfect place to gain ability in English without the expense and pressure of college. Perhaps one of the school’s greatest strengths is the emphasis on speaking and listening in addition to the traditional academic skills of reading and writing. A.E.I. understands the experience of foreign students. This is why the instructors and staff are so willing to help. I’ve personally given students rides home or to the MARTA station. I’ve looked at emails in English that students could not understand on their own. I’ve answered all sorts of questions about life in the U.S. or things that students have heard from their friends or people outside of the school. Overall, I think that people feel comfortable at A.E.I. because of the sense of community that happens at the school. Because classes are so small—typically 7-10 students per class—and because A.E.I. isn’t as big as a college or university, people become friends easily, and I’ve seen those friendships last. Almost everyday, I see a post from former A.E.I. students on Facebook, and I see friends from the school commenting on and liking those posts.

AEI is such a wonderful, well-planned school, with well-trained, disciplined and friendly teachers. The school has small classes and excellent equipment to help the students learn English. I had a wonderful exprience by studying here. I recommend this institute for the students to study and equip themselves with good knowledge and spiritual guidance. If God willing, I will come again to this school to experience more. Also It has nice class rooms and limited number of students in each class and qualified and professional teachers who also teach well and explain in an understandable way. Negative experience: very bad school. its all about buying your status here. You dont even have to go to school. your friends and clock you in and out. it all about keeping your visa, not about education. I have report them to SEVIS.

Negative experience: Dynamic classroom instruction, however, administration is in need of great restructuring.
