Negative experience: 9 years for studying in my country

Fantastic experience: There are very good language teachers here. I was very lucky to get this opportunity. The principals are always attentive and meticulous. Debbie and Lonnie teach very professional ,They spend a lot of energy to prepare lessons, makes me can’t to be lazy! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: This center is well organised and giving good facilities.. Didn’t see any issues with them as mentioned in other reviews. I went there to take IELTS exam and saw them managing everyone and everything very professionally.

Fantastic experience: It was my pleasure to be one of ELS Charlotte’s students. The teachers make the English learning more easer and enjoyable.The Directors are amazing and very professional. I spent wonderful and unforgettable time and I recommended it to all my friends. Moreover, they manage IELTS test in an appropriate way and guaranteed a great environment for candidates. Thank you all for everything, that is all what I can say because no words may describe what I feel.

Negative experience: I bet the people who rate this place with 5 stares have not been there. This is the worst place to take exam in. I have very bad experience with them. Starting from the process of the exam, they treat candidate like animals, we had to put our clothes on the ground. The thing that made me extremely frustrated, is the score result, I called and emailed them more than 10 times, they respond with careless and ignorance, they refuse to investigate way I hadn't received my report for two months, instead they asked me extra money to reprint the score report. In conclusion, if your time is important, don't go there, even if the alternative is in Alaska, go there, I promise, going to Alaska will save time, at least you will find people respect you and your time.

Negative experience: Avoid ELS

Negative experience: DON'T RESERVE A SEAT HERE!!!!!!!, if you think you can easily cancel and get the refund outside the 5 weeks window. I had a level "A" illness (the highest level of severity according to IELTS), but this center won't agree for a refund. They forced me to take a transfer instead, with $60 on top of the $240 I paid in the first place. This center is vague in their policies and just want to squeeze as much money from customers as they can. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Positive experience: Center for my toefl exam, they should put some signs or directions outside.

Positive experience: some teachers need to make the classes more interactive

Fantastic experience: People in the office are always trying to help students and giving them solutions. If I had any concerns about study, my future path, life in America and even about my family, I would go straight to talk to them. There is definitely great environment that I can keep studying English with them!

Negative experience: Since I have tried many IELTS test centers I can say that this is the worst IELTS test center ever. I took the test on December the 5th and today is January 13 and I got nothing! No result! Now I have to wait until next year to start the university because I'm over the deadline now. I emailed them couples hundred times and they responded to some of them and the answer was we sent it and we don't control the postal service. And when I drove there for three hours I got the same answer. The USPS might use camels do deliver letters? If so it should be faster :) Also, I contact with the British council and they transfer me to the same center :) To whom may want to take IELTS: Don't ever never eveeeer think about taking IELTS in this center.
