Welcome to Kennedy Language Academy, situated in Charlotte, where we specialize in providing quality language education for Spanish and Portuguese speakers. Our small academy is dedicated to teaching English through effective methods that quickly help students become confident and competent communicators.

We offer classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Classes are held twice a week at times convenient for you, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM or 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekend classes are also available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for those who prefer learning on those days.

Our courses are designed to meet the communication goals outlined by the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages, ensuring that students acquire necessary skills for effective communication. From day one, learners will be immersed in the language, promoting a quicker learning process.

With a personalized approach and classes that combine theory and practice, our founder, Clay Kennedy, brings over 24 years of language teaching experience. His expertise in IELTS and citizenship classes enriches the learning environment, providing valuable resources and tips for mastering English.

Fantastic experience: I think the language academy is the best option. I’ve been taking classes 2 months ago and I feel excellent because the classes are very interactive. Fantastic experience: He teaches good, he is very patience and tries to have you understand not only on the way the books are written but on a daily basis type of learning. I’ve never experienced somebody with this type of skills and so patience when it comes to teaching a new language which it could be really challenging at times.

Negative experience: They put all people in the same level Not good

Matias, we have four levels of classes and it is up to the student to let us know if they feel that they've been placed in the wrong level. When students come to try our classes, they are offered free classes to find which class best fits what they need from our offered courses, just as you were. Sorry you were not pleased with your experience in the class you chose, but our policy does place it on our adult students to communicate with us about any issues with placement. Based on my 25 years of professional teaching experience, you were in the correct level and you never expressed any concerns in class. You're welcome to try a higher level class, but to say we put all of our students at the same level is simply not true. I take pride in offering a quality program that meets the needs of every student who invests their time and money to study with me. I wish you the Best on your English learning jourey. In the future I suggest expressing concerns directly with your program director or teacher if you feel that you've been placed erroneously into the wrong level and attending classes regularly if you want to get the most out of your English courses.
