Negative experience: This is a fraud organisation. They have stolen US $3K from me and made no refund.

Fantastic experience: I was learning French through an app, but was having trouble finding someone to speak French with. I knew if I didn’t use it, I would lose it and that French immersion was the best way to go so I started searching the internet for ways to accomplish that. I found the Language International School and it seemed to meet my needs, but I was skeptical whether it was real or not. I took the chance and from the start was reassured by their correspondence that it was a legitimate school and had what I wanted. I booked a week of French immersion in Quebec City and just got back. It was very helpful in furthering my French language skills. I would recommend them to help you get what you need to learn another language. The French couple I stayed with were very nice and looked after me with meals, lessons, tours of the area and lots of opportunities to speak French.

Fantastic experience: Perfect organization. They offer a vast amount of courses in almost any language. The school I choose offered a very pleasant course (German language) with friendly teachers. I studied in a small group and could as an older person (50+) easily integrate. Nice textbook, effective mix of conversation and grammar exercises. I come back next year. Recommended.

Negative experience: Hi there, I find myself in a difficult situation regarding payment for English classes at Language International. I've invested a significant amount of money into the visa process and other related expenses. Unfortunately, after making the payment, I haven't been able to reach anyone for assistance. I've been diligently saving money for my dreams, and this experience has left me feeling extremely doubtful due to the lack of responsiveness. Prior to making the payment, they were prompt in their responses, which makes this situation even more frustrating. I've exhausted all channels in an attempt to request a refund for the money I've paid. Upon researching, I noticed that Karen Ong is the CEO and co-founder of Language International. "It's a scammer and unprofessional attitude!! Please refund the money back!!! You don't know how difficult it was to save for the future, which fully doubts the process!!"

Negative experience: I'm having a bad experience with Language International, I've been trying to book a French course in France for over a month. Every time I try to book it, I receive a response that is "signed" by Iliana or José Lara (I saw that some people have already mentioned Iliana in other comments), but apparently it is an automatic response. This answer informs some possibilities for paying in installments using a bank slip, the problem is that these installment payment methods do not come with a link to print the bills, the only one that comes with a link is for payment in a single installment. I have responded several times to emails requesting these links to be sent, but I never receive a response. I already tried to access the information request part of the website, I also received an automatic response with several questions about what I was looking for, I answered them all, but, again, I didn't receive any response. Apparently my emails are going to the spam folder, but it's unbelievable that no one at LI checks it every now and then. The funny thing is that when this request for information is completed, a message appears on the website itself telling me to check my spam folder in case LI's response goes there. I made a new request for information and wrote at the beginning of the request: "PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER" and put my email so they could look for it. Again, I only received an automatic response with several questions that I had already answered. Clearly no one reads the requests for information, the response is always automatic with the same questions. I'm almost giving up, I could even pay for the course in a single installment, but I was already thinking that the course could be a big scheme just to take money from those who pay in advance. The comments here made me feel more at ease, it seems like the school really exists, but it's possible that I'll end up looking for another course, even a more expensive one, just to make sure I'm dealing with professionals and not amateurs. Estou tendo uma péssima experiência com a Language International, estou a mais de um mês tentando marcar um curso de francês na França. Toda vez que tento marcar, recebo uma resposta que é "assinada" por Iliana ou José Lara (vi que algumas pessoas já falaram da Iliana nos outros comentários), mas aparentemente é uma resposta automática. Essa resposta informa algumas possibilidades de forma de pagamento parcelado no boleto, o problema é que essas formas parceladas não vem com um link para imprimir os boletos, a única que vem com link é para o pagamento em parcela única. Já respondi várias vezes aos e-mails solicitando o envio desses links, mas nunca recebo resposta. Já tentei entrar na parte de pedido de informações do site, também recebi resposta automática com vários perguntas sobre o que eu estava buscando, respondi todas, mas, novamente, não tive nenhum retorno. Aparentemente meus e-mails estão caindo na caixa de Spam, mas é inacreditável que ninguém na LI verifique ela de vez em quando. O engraçado é que quando se finaliza esse pedido de informação aparece uma mensagem no próprio site dizendo para eu verificar minha caixa de Spam caso a resposta da LI caia lá. Fiz novo pedido de informação e escrevi no início do pedido: "PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER" e coloquei meu e-mail para que procurassem por ele. Novamente só recebi a resposta automática com aquelas várias perguntas que já havia respondido. Claramente ninguém lê os pedidos de informação, a resposta é sempre automática com as mesmas perguntas. Já estou quase desistindo, eu até poderia pagar o curso em parcela única, mas já estava até pensando que o curso poderia ser um grande esquema só para tirar dinheiro de quem paga adiantado. Os comentários aqui me deixaram mais tranquilos, parece que a escola realmente existe, mas é possível que acabe procurando outro curso, mesmo que mais caro, só para ter certeza que que vou lidar com profissionais e não amadores.

Fantastic experience: I booked a French language course in Bordeaux and Italian in Sanremo for my recent holiday, through Language International. The only problem I had was that there were so many options. Both schools were excellent, as advertised and both were ready for my arrival. The responsiveness from Iliana at Language International was very good and there were plenty of options for course lengths and inclusions. I definitely recommend them and will use this service, if I decide to go to language schools in Europe again.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled in a 2 week course at the Carl Duisberg Centrum in Koln. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to undestand the basics of the German language or seeking to achieve proficiency with everyday communications in German. The staff were very helpful from the moment I arrived and I really enjoyed my two weeks here.

Fantastic experience: The student adviser Iliiana is very prompt to answer all of my questions and has an excellent rapport with the school in Tunis. I learned an incredible amount of material within one week, thanks to my teacher, Siwa. She has very organized and tactic approach to improve my French. The director of the school, Rahma took me all possible places in Tunis and nearby cities so that I can experience maximum within one week of stay. I am very happy that I selected the French school through Language International.

Fantastic experience: Loved the city, my host family, class activities, & teachers’ teaching methods & friendliness! The locations of the school & the host family are very convenient to walk to & are also quiet enough although there had been this traditional singing & joke telling festive events almost every night at the near-by plaza, they were happy, joyful, & pretty music & sounds to my ears & wished that I had energy to join them! I was also particularly surprised by how safe I felt on the streets in the center of the city, even in the early evenings, which was the opposite of what I had read online concerning the crime report before my trip there! All in all, I highly recommend studying Spanish at such a wonderful school & beautiful city of Guanajuato!

Positive experience: I spent a week in Amsterdam with a personal teacher and host through Language International. It was an enriching experience, both language wise but also culturally. The week was tailored for me. I came home exhausted but extremely satisfied. On the organizational level, I changed plans at the last minute but got consistent help from the European contact person. Every question was answered promptly, so I felt there was a good structure behind me. I also had a professional contact from the person in charge in Amsterdam.

They were very professional, responded to my communications very efficiently, provided detailed information about the course and location etc, and also the course itself at the Echo Eastern European language school was excellent and very good value for money.

В организации процесса мне очень помогли Language International, и в частности мой менеджер Татьяна Дубянская, которая была всегда на связи и ни один мой вопрос не оставила без внимания. В Школе на Кипре обучение организовано так, чтобы было не только полезно, но и интересно, и я даже уже пожалела, что отпуск у меня всего неделю, так как преподавание высоком уровне, небольшие группы, что делает занятия очень комфортными. Я выбрала размещение в семье, и провела эту неделю без преувеличения в комфортных условиях. Хозяйка оказалась дружелюбной и даже довозила учеников до школы по утрам (если пешком, то идти несколько км). Да и атмосфера школы располагает к тому, чтобы просто получать удовольствие от процесса. Было классно, и я бы даже сказала, незабываемо. Спасибо!

Fantastic experience: Language international helped me schedule a one month Spanish school in Cuenca, Ecuador. During the pandemic so much across the world was closed or had limited hours and was all super confusing to figure out. Language international helped me figure out the best fit and organized all the back and forth with the school for me. I ended up loving my school, Yanapuma, the teachers and the facilities. Great quality. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Language International helped me book a two week French course in Paris. My over-all experience has been extremely positive: Michele Bianchini communicated with me rapidly and effectively via email and telephone. Payment was easy and Covid refund insurance was granted, I had no trouble receiving info about the school and Paris in general. I would definitely recommend Language International to people interested in booking a course to improve their language skills.

Negative experience: No trust as they are not a serious company.

Negative experience: I had never heard of this place till this morning when I found a fraudulent charge on my credit card from them. Luckily my credit card company took care of it.

Negative experience: This company does not shoot straight. There is something clearly wrong here. They have neither a reliable phone number or address in Boston that I could establish. They also are awfully sneaky by urging you to pay and reserve your booking, then -- and only then -- telling you not to book your travel arrangements until they "confirm" your booking, whatever that could possibly mean. Online it turns out that many people have had serious problems with them. They are not professional or serious in their conduct and have no reliable presence. They are also sneaky in that you might find a reputable school to study with, but then the booking is through this alleged company. I will not have anything further to do with them, and I recommend others stay away until such time as the company can demonstrate its professional reliability and rationality of practices, which it has not done.

Negative experience: Con merchants at their very best. Try to work with them and they want almost half of all academic fees. They then discuss in house and gossip about the schools they are talking about and inadvertently send it to the school. This happened with out school and the sister school. AVOID
