Fantastic experience: This class is amazing. With the completion of level 1, I'm able to speak to my coworkers, help with PPE/material on site, order at a restaurant, meet and greet, talk about things in the house and office, family, days of the week, numbers, all sorts. It's really amazing! The music, food, and people I've meet in this short time - I wouldn't trade for anything! I took Spanish in Highschool... Many years ago now... I was constantly lost. "Yo bebo, tu bebes, el bebe..." I never understood what we were doing. It felt like I was missing something. Well, Freestyle Languages not only helped me past that roadblock - but I wasn't even aware that's where I had gotten stuck. It felt totally natural. I blew through it. This course is unlike anything else. Compared to public school courses and alll the apps focused on getting you to watch adds... this class truly stands alone. The teachers are FANSASTIC. None of them made me feel foolish for asking a question. And no one got upset if I was asking too many (which is a downfall of mine). I want to recommend everyone to take this class. You have no idea how much of the world you're missing out on until you dive in. I'll wrap this up with one thing - something I've learned over the past year. Many people say "I wish I would have learned that when I was younger..." or "I wish they would have taught us this in school" Well, let me ask you something - Do you think you'd do better in Highschool now? Or back then as a child? Or how about this - Think about your job, all your responsibilities, chores, and tasks - How do you think your Highschool self would handle all that? My guess is - you could do your schoolwork much better/easier now, and your Highschool self would run away/die before being able to take on what you do now. It's the same with learning a language. You didn't miss the bus, you just haven't gotten on yet!!!! So sign up for this course and you might just be lucky enough to get Laura as your teacher!!!! Thanks for taking the time to read this!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE learning Spanish with this company. We have three days of class: two for general conversation and one for work related language. I have learned a ton in just over a month from my courses. I have been able to meet and learn from 3 of their professors, all of which do a fabulous job. There is a clear understanding of the language being taught. I understand grammar better, I've learned useful "slang" terms that whenever my coworkers hear me use them, they get so excited! Can't say enough positive things about them and how they help me make connections and build rapport with the employees I care for.

Fantastic experience: We love doing freestyle (Espanol) in our office! It is a lot of work, but worth it, in my opinion. Looking forward to moving through the levels.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking French classes with Freestyle for 18 months after previously trying to learn via an app. I recently got to test my knowledge during my second visit to France, and it was a completely different experience from my first trip; I felt extremely confident with everything from ordering at restaurants and making phone reservations, to interacting with locals, and navigating around town and transit systems. Hardly anyone I spoke with switched to English and I even received compliments on my accent from native French-speakers! I've already started my next class and I'm excited to continue building on what I've already learned.

Fantastic experience: Zoom meeting classes are super enjoyable. Teachers are very knowledgeable. I do it through my job and I get to meet others that work in my company that are from other areas.

Fantastic experience: I started studying French during the lockdown, with dreams of one day going to Paris! Before that, the only other language I had studied was Spanish, back in high school. I immediately noticed a difference in the quality of teaching - and my ability to grasp and use the language - at Freestyle. I studied on and off for about a year and ended up finishing French Level 4. Over a year after my last class, I booked my first ever trip to France. 10 days in Paris! I was excited - but nervous, because I wasn’t sure how well my French would hold up after such a long break without any practice in between. As it turns out, the learning I did at Freestyle more than prepared me for my trip. I was able to handle all aspects of travel - grocery shopping, asking for directions or other help, ordering in restaurants - entirely in French! The more I used it, the more confident I felt. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely happy to see and appreciated my effort. It was a dream trip made even dreamier by the fact that I could connect with the people and the culture and for that I have Freestyle to thank!

Fantastic experience: I've been taking French language classes through Freestyle Languages for about a year now. I started as a native English speaker with some Spanish language knowledge, but a complete beginner in French. They are constantly adapting and improving the classes with approaches to help with building vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading comprehension and, of course, speaking ability in your target language. I especially like that they use authentic material -- videos, music, recipes, literature, news, history, etc. so you're learning with real material and learning about history and culture along the way. If you've ever wanted to learn another language, this is a great way to do it. Best of all, it's now available across geographies. It's a commitment, but worth it!

Fantastic experience: I took an 8 week Spanish class online with Freestyle and absolutely loved it. As an English as a Second Language teacher and tutor myself, I understand best practices for teaching languages and Freestyle follows them all. I plan on taking more classes with Freestyle in the future. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I have taken 3 semesters of French classes at freestyle and I am so pleased with how much I have learned and advanced in French. Their teaching method is not boring, it engages you and most importantly, it motivates you to continue learning. In a regular semester you receive two weekly classes and a "Saturday Cafe" , which is a more casual conversational class on the weekend. It is worth every penny. Something I particularly love about Freestyle is that they incorporate a lot of the actual culture of the language/countries that speak it. It really is an immersive experience...happy hours, movies (Netflix watch parties), virtual tours, etc.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking Spanish classes at Freestyle for almost 3 years and will sing this place's praises to anyone who will listen. If you're looking for a supportive and positive learning environment with incredible teachers and a super cool community of language learners, this is the place to be. I am so glad I took the leap!

Fantastic experience: I love FLC! I appreciate the way we build fluency through culturally relevant conversation topics, French film, and current events. The curriculum is dynamic and well paced, and the class size is ideal. Skillful teachers and native speakers--Kristine and Clem are the best--present a nuanced learning experience, and I am grateful for the fun, low-pressure environment they create. The community is very supportive, so there isn't much self-consciousness in class. The supplementary events make FLC an even greater value! Elizabeth, Sharnicia, and team offer an amazing service to Austin, and I'm proud to support this local business. I've already signed up for another session and am sure my proficiency will continue to improve--helping me to engage in French more confidently, professionally and socially!

Fantastic experience: I started taking classes at Freestyle after 15+ years of traditional language classes/books/cds (high school, college and beyond) and nothing has come close to the level of fluency and comprehension I've achieved at Freestyle! My French friends and colleagues all remark on how much my French skills have improved since I started with FLC -- it really is a school that caters to students of all levels and learning styles.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are completing our first semester at Freestyle Language Center and we are so glad that we came here! Our instructor has done an amazing job with the class. We have learned so much, and it has been nice to learn a language with a focus on conversation and reading comprehension. Both of us took courses in college for our target language, and like so many others, didn't use it and totally lost it. With the courses at Freestyle, we find ourselves using it at home and with colleagues. Instead of studying for a test, we listen to lyrics or watch a TV show and pick up what we can. It has been so much fun, we are signing up for a second semester now!
