Freestyle Languages

A dynamic, science-backed approach to language learning

Freestyle Languages offers a unique, 100% online learning experience in Austin, designed to take students from absolute beginner to conversational fluency. By utilizing an innovative 'flipped classroom' model and authentic materials like films, music, and TV shows, the school ensures that learners acquire the language as it is actually spoken in daily life. This method, supported by scientific principles, allows students to progress at a quick yet manageable pace, making the journey both effective and enjoyable.

Expert instruction and a supportive community

The school boasts a team of highly trained, often native-speaking instructors who are praised for their professionalism, patience, and ability to create a low-pressure environment. Students consistently highlight the teachers' availability and their skill in building confidence from day one. The small class sizes and personalized attention foster a sense of community, where learners feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in conversation without fear of judgment.

Engaging curriculum and cultural immersion

Freestyle Languages goes beyond traditional grammar drills by integrating culture directly into the lessons. Through 'Saturday Cafes,' virtual movie nights, and discussions on current events, students immerse themselves in the culture of the target language. This approach not only improves linguistic skills but also deepens cultural understanding, making the learning process vibrant and relevant to real-world interactions.

Tailored programs for professionals and general learners

While offering standard courses for general conversation, the school has specialized programs for the construction industry, addressing critical language gaps in professional settings. Whether for career advancement or personal enrichment, students report rapid improvements in their ability to communicate with colleagues, navigate daily tasks, and connect with native speakers, proving that Freestyle is a top choice for serious and fun language acquisition.
