Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Tampa Language Center. The English classes were absolutely perfect for me. The lessons were clear, well-organized, and very helpful for improving my speaking and confidence. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere. The staff and teachers feel like family members — they are kind, supportive, and always ready to help. I truly loved the positive vibe and the friendly people who work there. We had an amazing time at TLC with a goose chase competition, aquarium visit, and boat trip — both educational and truly fun! Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Tampa Language Center! I’ve been taking Spanish 1 and have had a wonderful experience! Every time I’ve called with questions, the staff has been so helpful and friendly. I had a challenging schedule to work around, but they accommodated me by keeping me on a waitlist and notifying me whenever new classes became available. Since starting, I’ve already learned so much. The class sizes are small, and the instructor is excellent at answering any questions during class.

Joseph Rasico, Assistant Director, was incredibly accommodating and immediately put together a strategic plan for my TEFL practicum observations across multiple levels—simply exceptional service. Fantastic experience: My experience here was so amazing! I got to observe a level 4 speaking and listening class taught by Radha and it was seriously the sweetest experience. Radha had such a positive presence and really made the classroom such a safe place where the students not only learned a lot about english but also just felt so seen as individuals! If you want to observe at TLC I would suggest trying to request Radha's class because she has inspired me in so many ways for the teacher I want to be one day! Also just the whole staff that I interacted with at TLC was so kind and made me feel so welcome!

Fantastic experience: I took one term for Spanish with Vanessa and I have to tell you, this was a GREAT experience. I only stopped because my work schedule has changed significantly, but once I have free time I will resume. I originally signed up for the 2B class, but because of hiccup with some other classmates schedules, they had to move me to another class. They were extremely coordinated in how they did it, worked with flexibility, and made sure I did not miss a lesson. Vanessa was an incredible instructor who exercised a lot of patience and always had a ton of enthusiasm and passion for her students. The homework was always sufficient for in-between classes without being too much to do considering busy lives and schedules. Racquel at the front office was very communicative and prompt with scheduling needs and invoicing. I definitely recommend TLC no matter what language you need to learn; the structured environment really helps and it's a fun time!

Fantastic experience: I recently had the privilege of observing Tampa Language Center’s Business English 7 class for two days with teacher, Mr. Tom. I had an amazing experience and met a great group of students from all over the world (including Qatar, Saudia Arabia, Columbia, Cuba, and Thailand). I was very impressed with the caliber of teaching and the excitement and motivation of the students who were eager to work hard to build and expand on each lesson plan and improve their English comprehension. Fantastic experience: I studied English in Tampa Language Center for 1.5 years. I highly recommend TLC to anyone who wants to study English or another language in Tampa. My English has improved significantly and I enjoyed learning English in TLC with a lot of fun. I had a lot of great experiences and met beautiful people all over the world. We had many amazing field trips with Dear Tom. Some of them were St. Leo University, Courthouse, Fox 13 Channel, Tampa Police Department, Hyatt Hotel, Toni Everett, Alessi Bakery, Publix, and Barnes & Noble. The teachers are amazing! They do a great job with all love, passion, and kindness!! Also the director Ryan and all staff are extremely helpful and kind. They provided all information and documents about F-1 procedure to complete my process on time. I am so grateful to every teacher and employee here.❤️ The best language school in Florida for anyone who wants to learn or improve language skills with fun!! Fantastic experience: I was impressed with the Tampa Language Center. The staff is responsive and diligent in communication with prospective students. I participated in the ASL class (on line) and although it would have been splendid to have in-person options, it was a good refresher course for me. The instructor, B. Groome, was organized, and provided careful correction and feedback. She kept the class interesting and fun despite the virtual environment. She was accommodating to the needs of students and helpful in putting us in contact with other resources for practice. Highly recommend her and the TLC.

Positive experience: I was a student for America Sign Language, so far my experience has been all virtual as I udnerstand there is not much demand for this amazing language, but appreciate the fact that they have it on their options. My teacher Barbara was great and always professional, kind and polite, and sharing options to connect with this language in different ways. In general I had a very good virtual experience just wishing more in person opportunities.

A small class of about 8 students from all over the world (Thailand, Russia, the Ukraine, Columbia) made for such a diverse and dynamic experience. When I came in 2021 I couldn’t speak English and I know business as SWOT, diference between Marketing and branding. Fantastic experience: The school and the teachers are fantastic. I've been studying here for the past six months and love the atmosphere of the place. I'm finishing my last quarter here, and I had business, accent reduction, and advanced writing classes that helped a lot to improve my English skills. Another great thing is that we could visit places outside the school, like USF University, Renaissance Hotel, the Police Department, the Library, etc. I highly recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: As an outside observer, I really enjoyed my time sitting in on the classes at this school. The class sizes are small and the teachers I was able to observe were all great at working with students from all different backgrounds. The environment is warm, friendly, and comfortable. All of the students and staff worked well together to help bolster English learner language skills. The activities are varied and touch on all of the English language skills including speaking, listening, grammar, writing, reading, and vocabulary. Individual work, group work, and whole class discussion are used in each class to keep the students engaged, and personal experiences were very much valued for forming deeper understandings of the content. If you have the time, money, and desire to improve your English language skills as a non-native speaker, I recommend giving Tampa Language Center a shot.

Negative experience: Bad customer service. My wife and I have left at least two messages each for a total of four and NO REPSONSES. If you can't even get to them as a new student imagine what it will be like if you were enrolled.

Negative experience: Overpriced and their customer service sucked so decided to go somewhere else. There are much cheaper school in Florida and especially for international students, having affordable fee is very important but it seems like this school does not understand that. To the owner: I used a different name for privacy.

Fantastic experience: I'm an aspiring ESL instructor, who completed the TEFL practicum at the Tampa Language Center. My experience with the center's staff, students, and director (Ryan W.) have been extremely positive. The staff is knowledgeable, motivated, and caring. The staff exudes an extreme sense of passion and pride for teaching. This passion is transferred to the students, who genuinely put forth the effort to learning the English language. Students are encouraged to ask questions and challenged to exceed the course standards. Many thanks to the inspirational teachers (Mr. Tom, Mr. Sam, Ms. Natalie, and Ms. Kim) who allowed me to participate in their class and have meaningful interaction with their students. The staff is unique in the sense that they find various ways to teach students inside and outside of the classroom. Some teachers incorporate class trips, events, community service, and other activities into their lessons, providing students the opportunity to practice their listening and speaking skills with other native English speakers.
