Negative experience: Used to be better but old equipment that sometimes doesn’t work the new material On the website have a lot of mistakes and they make us pay for this, ac don’t work,they don’t show everything the real truth to the social media they just show a part Sometimes they change teacher for no reason even when we talk to them not to change teacher and they do, its not so good

I would especially like to recognize Suzane. She has been incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive throughout my journey. Whenever I needed assistance, clarification, or guidance, she was always available and willing to help. Her professionalism and dedication made a significant impact on my experience. A Teacher Valery é insubstituível, inteligente e talentosa. Todos na escola são atenciosos e demonstram interesse pelo seu progresso, desde o primeiro dia. Os ambientes são agradáveis, limpos e climatizados. O material didático é de boa qualidade e conta até com tutor de IA para auxiliar em dúvidas e fazer conversação. Tive oportunidade de fazer aula de campo, vivendo situações reais e pondo meu inglês à prova na biblioteca, no restaurante, sempre com o apoio da professora e dos colegas de turma, momentos eternizados em minha memória. O lugar abriga estudantes de todos tipos, desde os de curta jornada, como eu, aos de longo prazo, com visto F1. Estão sempre de portas abertas para nos auxiliar. Foi meu porto-seguro. Quando comecei, em novembro de 2022, praticamente não falava inglês; hoje, após concluir todos os módulos do 1 ao 6, consigo me comunicar com segurança. A escola foi essencial para esse progresso. Outro ponto importantíssimo foi o suporte humano. Desde a matrícula e as dicas para a entrevista do visto no Brasil, o Lucas Araújo sempre esteve pronto para tirar possíveis dúvidas. Além disso, o Marcelo e a Marjorie (DSO) sempre estiveram disponíveis para ouvir nossas preocupações com atenção. O pessoal do front-desk também é muito solícito e educado. O programa ESL tem um material claro e progressivo que realmente ajuda a ganhar confiança ao falar. O TOEFL poderia ter um material-base mais estruturado, mas isso não diminui a qualidade geral do ensino. Além do aprendizado, fiz grandes amizades que levarei para a vida toda. A unidade da Lakehurst Dr é bem localizada para quem mora na região de Orlando ou Metrowest, o que facilita muito a rotina. Mesmo com alguns desafios no último ano, ainda considero a Harvest uma das melhores escolas de inglês em Orlando e sou muito grata por tudo que vivi e aprendi ali.

Negative experience: Após um ano de experiência na Harvest, infelizmente minha vivência foi extremamente decepcionante. Desde o início do processo, a falta de informação foi notável, tornando a experiência frustrante logo nos primeiros contatos. A metodologia, longe de ser eficiente, demonstrou ser desorganizada, ao ponto de minha turma precisar solicitar a troca de professor três vezes ao longo do ano devido a inconsistências no ensino. Se você busca uma instituição profissional, organizada e confiável, a Harvest já não é mais essa escola. A qualidade do ensino e dos profissionais caiu significativamente, e hoje a instituição parece estar mais focada em fornecer suporte para vistos estudantis do que em garantir um ensino de qualidade. Demorei a tomar a decisão de escrever essa avaliação, mas acredito ser necessário alertar quem está considerando ingressar nesta escola. É lamentável ver o estado atual da Harvest. No entanto, destaco que tive a oportunidade de aprender com duas excelentes professoras: Maria Alejandrea e Halina, que foram verdadeiras exceções dentro dessa experiência.

Negative experience: Tive a sorte de ter a Marialejandra como professora o que me deixou feliz. Porém, as questões relacionadas com a Escola são bem complicadas. Tive muitos problemas com substituição de professores. Uma vez fomos realocados em uma turma de outro nível e nada nos foi ensinado com relação ao nosso nível. Outro dia tivemos uma professor substituto que não estava a par do conteúdo ou programação da aula, ficamos extremante descontentes e um dos alunos da sala teve que interromper o professor para nos ensinar o conteúdo. Recentemente aguardamos um professor substituto por quase duas horas e decidimos ir embora por conta do desrespeito com os alunos, porém recebemos falta, ou seja o objetivo aparente foi atender as necessidades do Instituto e não dos alunos. Um dia precisei ir ao urgent care e o médico errou na data com o próximo dia, dia que estava presente na aula. Solicitei que reconsiderassem uma vez que no dia do atestado estava presente. Recebi uma resposta um pouco irônica dizendo: Se vc voltar ao seu médico ele terá o prazer de ajustar seu atestado. Lembrando que o Urgent care tem cada dia um médico não pude corrigir o erros e recebi falta. Não há uma cafeteria no local ou próximo para ir durante o break, então estejam preparados para trazer algo para comer ou beber. Resumindo, o curso é muito bem vendido mas a relação com a escola é unilateral o que acredito ser inadequado para um ambiente de ensino. Regras devem ser cumpridas mas o contrato é entre as duas partes e não é justo que somente o aluno seja prejudicado neste processo. Após 6 meses de ensino não recomendo a escola, exceto pela professora. Editei meu comentário somente pra complementar que na data de hoje tem alerta de tornado até as 4pm, mas os alunos tiverem que comparecer a aula para não ter falta pois eles consideraram que não havia risco. Detalhe, todos os telefones tocaram o alarme de tornado!!!!! As demais escolas na área de Orlando liberaram os alunos… mais uma vez decepcionada.

Positive experience: I am considering sponsoring a student but have been told by several students that they receive compensation from Harvest when they write positive reviews. Can someone confirm this? Two weeks later and no response. I believe, to compensate foreign language students for giving positive reviews, is very disingenuous at best. Anyone considering attending this school should also read the negative reviews. In no way does this school merit a review score of 4.8. I hope in the future Google will find a way to monitor cases like this, especially when it concerns an educational program in need of recruiting foreign language students with limited English language skills and who are susceptible to being taken advantage of.
