Fantastic experience: I got started in American Sign Language with Language Door in 2021. Taking those courses gave me a great jump-start to learning and improving my ASL skills. If you're looking to start signing, I definitely recommend signing up for a course.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had an awesome time learning Japanese from Akemi-Sensei. The in-person private class has been so helpful for my Japanese speaking skills. Each class is geared towards what I need to work on. I always leave feeling like I learned something helpful and useful. The Language Door staff has always been nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place if you want to learn a language.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to find Cantonese courses nowadays, and Language Door is one of the few places in Southern California that provides Cantonese/Yue.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of using their services for two different languages (German and Japanese: private session and small group class). The staff were professional communicate well, the teachers are very patient and helpful with the classes. I look forward to using their services in the future before my next trip to Japan or Germany. So many different types of languages to choose from with native speakers. This is a great alternative if you don’t have the time or resources to take a foreign language class at school.

Fantastic experience: I recently began taking a course in Farsi at The Language Door. The staff here is second to none. The personalized, professional and courteous service is priceless. Within moments of my first class I was able to meet the office administrator, Natascha. She was polite and professional as well as welcoming and genuine. It is clear that she enjoys her job as she was really enthusiastic. My instructor is Ms. Nehzat, by far the most thorough and helpful language instructor I have met. She is patient and very helpful in terms of pronunciation, punctuation and clarity. All of the staff seem to love what they do and it shows, which makes learning a real joy... The atmosphere is pleasant, as well...clean and neat. It makes me look forward to my classes... In short, I recommend this place for learning a huge variety of languages and for their staff in general.
