Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language | K3 Head Start to 8th Grade

Negative experience: Pésimo el servicio del autobús escolar hace un mes me mudé a esta ciudad fue la única escuela según el distrito escolar disponible vivimos más de 15 millas de distancia el autobús asignado simplemente no pasa a recoger a mi hija ya he llamado he ido a la escuela para hacerles saber la situación y nadie hace nada no se que hacer o donde poner una queja ?.

Negative experience: I transferred my kids to this school less than a month ago. My second grader comes home with a scar on her finger later follows with a high temperature, diarrhea, and headaches. My fourth grader has a behavioral disorder and needs special attention daily. They totally disregarded his needs. And Send him to different classes on the regular. The principal, Miss Ghana and vice principal miss Veng strath constantly picks Bullies and provokes my sixth grader. Ms Veng- strath physically assaulted my daughter, and blamed it on her because she pulled away from ms Veng-strath. “Whenever”!!!! My sixth grade teacher is out, both Veng strath and Ghana goes on a “provoking spree” and only seems to Target, black and brown students. I’ve been told by multiple people that both ladies ms Ghana & Veng- strath has been doing this for years and nothing has yet to done with neither parties. I guess I should’ve done my research on this school before enrolling my beautiful most remarkable gifts from God.

Fantastic experience: Love school make me feel at home

Negative experience: Extremely disrespectful assistant principal and play victim when someone match her disrespect, teachers abuse children and no action take place when reported. They force children to miss the bus going home and make it the parents responsibility to get them as if it’s the parents/students fault they missed the bus and will kick them out the school leaving them stranded in any type of weather. This school needs to be fully investigated and remove/replace the corrupt assistant principal & teachers. Also it seems the main principal can’t handle her job at all.

Fantastic experience: Hey man I go to this school it’s cool and stuff but the Vice Principal overreacts a lot gng but if the school sees this Wsg gng this not angel Mavambu fr bye gng .

Negative experience: this school doesn’t even deserve a 1 star honestly, the staffs don’t care about the students at all. They verbally abuse them..it’s awful that this school is still open.. I’ve heard from my kids that they’re feeding them old food, treating them like animals. Do better macl

Fantastic experience: This building use to house The Milwaukee County Dispensary and Emergency Hospital which was built in 1927 to 1929. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. This is a cool looking historical building and a must see. Check it out!

Negative experience: I did a field experience here and I weep for the poor children stuck in this sorry excuse for a school!! staff can be very abusive and does not seem to have any knowledge of child development or basic best practices in education. Or they’re just apathetic and let kids do whatever they want. The disdain that these adults have for children is sickening! Teachers stick kids on Chromebooks for hours every day instead of engaging lessons. No surprise, the kids here are angry and stressed and there are extreme behaviors. This “school” should be shut down; it’s the kind of school that gives MPS a bad reputation.

Negative experience: The stuff that works in this school is very unprofessional to be specific safia abdi jama esl aid attacks and assaulted me and 14 years old son who is studentat mps student in public place . I do have police report and filling restraining order bec she fellow us in our house try to fight . There is witness and she continues to screaming at house that she is going to kill my family.

Negative experience: Went here in 2018 with my brother after moving back from Alaska. A women who was a staff there got angry and yelled at us because we apparently went the "wrong" way to get in line even though all we did was followed everyone else. FYI me and my brother we were new here and didn't know anyone nor any staffs and just followed where all the other students went. This school is known for having Chinese language which my parents wanted us to continue as we both learn the language during middle school in Alaska. Disappointed as I wasn't able to continue learning the language and the women would always yell at certain kids. Giving it a 1 star bcs of the what happened.

Negative experience: I dislike it very much the kids are very disrespectful

Negative experience: Honestly a bit disappointing, my child was uncomfortable in her class and they did not do anything, instead they do the opposite.
