Fantastic experience: International Gateway is not only offers a course that helps you prepare for the TOEFL exam, but it also provides exceptional support for international students to adjust to the academic environment and culture of the United States. Besides improving my English skills, I am grateful for the guidance and support I received from their teachers and advisors, as well as the friendships I made during my time there. If you are from abroad and aspire to pursue undergraduate or graduate programs in the United States, SJSU International Gateway is an excellent place to start your path toward the university.

Fantastic experience: International Gateways is one of my wonderful experiences in learning English, especially writing a research paper. The programs that they use are helpful not only for daily conversation but also for academic studies and universities. I could succesful to get accepted in Master’s program after finishing my courses at International Gateways.

Fantastic experience: I started my Masters in Urban Planning 4 weeks ago (Spring 2024) at SJSU. Since the first day, I have been remembering my excellent decision to study at International Gateways before applying for the Master's degree. During these last weeks, I have understood my classes, also I can contextualize myself with historical and cultural North American references. I am reading tons of chapters at an appropriate speed without translating any word, and I am writing e-mails and assignments with accurate feedback, which means that I am expressing myself and I am being understood. Additionally, today I will make my first presentation and all the practice that I had last semester makes me more confident for today. Besides all the pleasure moments in the classes, I would like to recognize the value of the work that the teachers have been doing for international students at the International Gateways course.

Fantastic experience: I'd studied at SJSU International Gateways for 17 weeks. It was a wonderful time to learn at here. The teachers and IG's advisors are very kind, helpful and friendly. IG is a professional school. It is a very intensive program.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Thailand.I studied at IG SJSU for 17 weeks of ESL program.I was impressed by my learning experience here. The teachers were very enthusiastic and friendly. Good environmental atmosphere, everything's okay. Teachers really care about students here. Outstanding student certificates are also given. Fantastic experience: My experience in IG is very impressive. I stayed here about 3 month of its EST program. Every teacher and advisor in here were friendly and enthusiastic to students as well as those course they provided were interesting and really helpful. Also you can have fun with teacher and students during holiday. I really spent a happy time during the Halloween party in IG. If you are out of America and searching a chance to get yourself into the enviroment of American university or you want to get enrolled into SJSU but have no experience learning abroad before, the IG is a very good option to you, including traning your English proficiency and studying on campus.

Fantastic experience: International Gateways provides pretty good environment to practise English. Multi level English classes (from 300-700 usually) are provided every season. Teachers here are so professional and friendly, they always try their best to deliver English knowledge, and U.S cultures as well. So proud of being a part of IG programs.

Fantastic experience: International Gateways has been a successful starting point for my education in the USA. Beginning my studies here, I was pleasantly surprised by how classes combine knowledge acquisition with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where teachers and students are equally engaged in the learning process. Thanks to diverse assignments and a kind and relaxed atmosphere, I learned how to logically and concisely express my thoughts in writing and overcame the psychological barrier of communicating in a foreign language. The summer session was very short, yet it's not easy for me to pick out the brightest moment or memory since each class was unique. However, the celebration of the 4th of July was the most fun time, as it allowed me to interact with people from other groups and connect with teachers outside of class. IG provides an excellent opportunity to improve one's English language skills and meet people from all over the world.

Fantastic experience: I must say it was an amazing experience to learn with IG English program at SJSU. I forgot my age, and learned each other with my classmates from all over the world. The teachers not only well prepare their teaching materials for the whole class but also give out one-to-one help in time. Personally I benefit a lot from timed reading and timed writing, which have successfully changed me from a housewife with easy life to an effective student with busy life. And it’s very important that we chose the English program at IG. It's a pleasure to go here, it’s incredibly beautiful and harmonious, a huge campus, there is a swimming pool and a gym. International Gateways has an outstanding program accepting international student from all over the world to learn English and familiar with culture and continue with education. The entire staff from the time that you are applying for program are so kind and helpful. They make themselves available to speak with you anytime of the day & night. Fantastic experience: I am very fortunate that I came to the IG program last year. Through these four semesters of study, I not only achieved good results in the IBT TOEFL and GRE exams, but also gave me a deep understanding of American education. Without studying at IG , I would not have decided to pursue my master's degree in the US, as we all know, US universities are really expensive, especially for international students.
