Fantastic experience: For me back in 2016 this was the best place to get my GED they taught students at there level they needed and I was able to go and text out just after a couple months greatly appreciated!

Negative experience: Why are you doing that? At this temperature, you can torture enemies, but definitely not learn. I was freezing all over, my brain was frozen, the only thing I could think about was how to escape from the cold. In such conditions, it is impossible to learn

Negative experience: Hoy fuimos a este Lugar a solicitar el examen para mi hijo de 16 años el examen del GED y la verdad nos sentimos discriminados por la secretaria por que mi hijo no habla Perfecto Ingles y aparte es agresiva a la hora de dar la informacion ,de mala gana,cerrando todas las alternativas no lo recomiendo si eso es la informacion no me quiero imaginar lo de mas por favor !Clases de atencion al cliente!.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Rocha is a blessed guy, not to mention all kind staff. Well-organized school, good infrastructure as well. The photos on web don't represent how good the atmosphere is.

Positive experience: My English teacher is the best. Mr Rocha is a such a great person. He is so intelligent, friendly and congenial with his students. He is a great communicator. We are so lucky to have him like our teacher. We are learning everyday with him.

Negative experience: Wanted to take classes to get my ged so I thought I'd try Ft. Lauderdale Community School. I get there at 5:11pm the front desk clerk tells me that I have to take a tab test before I can start classes to see what level I'm on, fine. I told her that I had passed all the ged subjects except math, she explained the way the test is set up I have to take all subjects, fine. She told me the wait would b 15-20min however that turned into 2 1/2 hours of waiting, I didn't know how much longer I could look in my phone then look at the people then stare at the wall an then back in my phone, the frustration was mounting. Finally I get called to take the test by a nice young lady she was pleasant the test was close to two hours and I was tired, frustrated, ready to go home. So I'll admit I wrote anything down on the sections that didn't envolve math I was ready to go but what came after that was horrific. So after the test I was placed back in the waiting room several minutes later she comes back with my scores of course I scored low on the sections I wrote anything with the math I had a tenth grade level which is what I thought it would b because I dropped out in the tenth grade, I was fortunate enough to go to school as a medical assistant seeing as thou I didn't need a diploma then for that. So basically she said the test scores were ok in math but the overall score was low I'll b placed in a low level Abe class, I'm fine with that so long as it's jus the math that I need she takes me too this mans classroom in the back left hand side to see if I could in a higher level because the math was all I need an I did ok. We get the n the classroom I go online to try to show him my results of my ged test and how I've passed everything except Math an all this guy could say as I showed him each test I took my "reading oh u barely passed that". "Social Studies u barely passed that". "Science u barely passed that one to". I haven't been in school in 20yrs for me to go an take those test an pass I thought I did ok. What kind of teacher kicks u down when ur there seeking help. As we left the room with his mind made up that I should stay in the Abe class I also left with my head hanging low, feelings hurt never to return to that discouraging place again hopefully I can get my tab test transferred to another school if not I'll have to take it again cause I'm never going back there, go there if u don't mind people without any emphathy.
