Fantastic experience: Teacher Vinicius I have been taking private English lessons with Vinicius at the American One Institute, and the experience has been wonderful since day one. He is an excellent teacher who truly cares about his students’ progress. His classes are very well structured, and I really enjoy the way he teaches and the activities he prepares. They make the lessons engaging and help me feel like I am improving and learning more every time. Thanks to his guidance, I have been able to grow and gain more confidence in my English. I highly recommend Vinicius to anyone looking for a supportive and effective English teacher.

Negative experience: Estudié en esta escuela de inglés durante aproximadamente un semestre y medio y, lamentablemente, mi experiencia no fue positiva. En primer lugar, la mayoría de los profesores no eran hablantes nativos de inglés y, en varios casos, su nivel no era el adecuado para enseñar el idioma correctamente. Además, las clases se desarrollaban en gran parte en español, lo cual limita seriamente el aprendizaje cuando el objetivo es mejorar el inglés. Otro punto negativo es que el estacionamiento no es adecuado ni conveniente, lo que genera incomodidad constante para los estudiantes. También considero injusto que cada semestre se cobren libros cuando se repite un semestre siendo en realidad el material entregado eran fotocopias a color, lo cual no justifica el costo adicional. Finalmente, mi mayor decepción fue con el área administrativa. Al momento de realizar mi transferencia a otra institución, me pusieron múltiples obstáculos y llegaron incluso a insinuar que la universidad a la que me trasladaba no era legítima, haciendo juicios sin fundamento que parecían más un intento de retener estudiantes que una preocupación real por su bienestar académico. No recomendaría esta escuela a quienes buscan una experiencia seria, profesional y enfocada verdaderamente en el aprendizaje del inglés.

Negative experience: Es una gran estafa!!! Te dicen que será 4 días a la semana de ahí te salen con que no va ver clases o hay test o hay party etc no vayan a esta escuela es una estafa total

Negative experience: La peor escuela sin duda llevo dos semestres y no aprendo nada y no digan que es mi culpa por.que yo estudio también en casa y si tengo una pregunta trato que el profesor me explique y lo único que me dise que esa no es el tema de hoy lo único que asen es breck y a la semana dar solo 3 días de clases disen que es 4 pero no solo es 3 según ellos examen o que se yo se inventan terminaré el semestre y nunca mas piso esa lugar solo regalo dinero ahy es lo único que ellos saben sacarte dinero uno quiere aprender no a que le saquen dinero

Negative experience: Aparte de que solo es hasta el dia jueves! Quieren suspender clases por que si porque no. Que porque hay party!!! Osea no pueden hacerlo el viernes si no que debe ser el jueves para cancelar clases !!! Estoy pagando para aprender ingles no para ir a una party!!! Ahora no hay clases que porque hay examen segun ellos!! No dan las 2 horas completas, eso es mentira siempre te roban 30 minutos pero si son puntuales para cobrar tu mensualidad!! Las personas visadas deberian estar. En un salon aparte a ellos no les interesa la clase ni asistir, estan es obligados y solo sabotean la clase!!

Negative experience: Tuve un mala experciencia en servicio al cliente, tenia pensado pagar el curso para estudiar ingles pero cuando iba a hacer la negosiacion de pago me trataron mal me hicieron senrir estupido y miserable y como fue el American del norte me hicieron senti incomo por ser de sur. DEBEN MEJORAR EL SERVICIO AL CLIENTE

Negative experience: Mezclan las personas visadas con los que realmente queremos aprender, a los visados no les interesa aprender solo pasar el tiempo, no dejan escuchar la clase, creen que están en un colegio, solo risas y gritos, deberían separar los visados de los que realmente queremos aprender, si quieres aprender, busca una escuela que no tenga visados. Pague $900 por 3 meses los cuales fueron perdidos, es frustrante querer aprender y perder tanto tiempo en el salón, todos pegados al celular viendo tik tok y las clases no avanzan, tiempo perdido, de dos horas se estudia 30 minutos y eso mucho.

Negative experience: Súper mal atención, malísima capacitación de la gente del escritorio donde reciben a la gente. Me atendió un tipo tan prepotente y no me puedo resolver nada. Y me mando a espera con otra persona. Además otra de las empleadas dijo que no tenia ni idea de qué hace. Súper mal esta escuela

Negative experience: Went there to ask for help but not body care what l was looking either teacher or staff all were very rude final they told me that . The boss will call me but call me or anything . I guess if you not looking for class they don't care. They act like they don't know what you are talking about.

Positive experience: No tuve una buena experiencia en la escuela, tuve una profesora muy poco dinámica las clases eran aburridas toda la clase era aburrida nada creativa la profesora nunca se paraba para hacer ejercicios no era un buen método de enseñanza de parte de ella, pero también tuve un día de clase con otro profesor que fue excelente !!! Ya depende de tu suerte que profesor te tocara pero para un advance un profesor poco dinámico no funcionó sentí que perdí mi dinero. Sin embargo la escuela es buena pero la profesora que me dio clases no.

Negative experience: Never ever go to this school!!! It is horrible, we had an issue on the FIRST day of English class, we talked to them about it and it’s been a month and they haven’t done anything. We called told them who we were and they hung up the phone and won’t answer our calls anymore. Again worst school ever. Don’t go they don’t care about you and neither do their teachers.

Negative experience: Qualifications must have been made by friends! Today my wife and I went there in person and even with 3 attendants at the front desk, we didn't even receive a good morning or a mere sign of attention. If the service is like this, I can imagine the course must be just to take your money.

When I spoke with them, I was convinced to start my process of changing from B2 to F1 status with the school. My visa was about to expire. The school meticulously assisted me in accomplishing each role that is required. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I hope that everything goes well in this process that has just begun. I am happy to start studying at the school. Update. 2/6/22 Finally, I got my F1 visa with American One School. I love the classes, the professors are very professional and expert. I am very pleased with my English classes, I am learning a lot. I highly recommend American One for those who want to study English in Utah and those who want to change their status.

Fantastic experience: He estudiado inglés en American One English Schools desde hace un año y en mi opión es la mejor escuela de Utah, los profesores son excelentes y muy profesionales y las clases son dinámicas y acorde con las necesidades de los estudiantes. Adicionalmente, el dueño, Victor Ochoa, es abogado y me ayudó a hacer el trámite de mi permiso de trabajo fuera de la escuela, él realmente fue de mucha ayuda para poder lograrlo.

Positive experience: I came here with insecurities especially speaking the english language. The international office supported me during the whole visa procedure before and during my stay in Utah. The rule in the school that you can only speak English in the classroom encourages you to do so. I eventually got much better talking to friends in the breaks. The teachers are awesome, funny and really help you out if you have any questions. The monthly school activities are decent. They are a good way to meet your classmates out of the school environment and to make friends with them better. The school only lacks the opportunity to have lessons also on Fridays. But overall the prize is good for what you get at American English One language school.
