Experiencia fantástica: Our Italian 101 class was exactly what we were looking for to prepare for our upcoming trip to Italy. It provides a thorough introduction to Italian basics such as alphabet, numbers, pronunciation, noun forms and verb conjugations. Francesco is a great instructor with a thorough mastery of the Italian language, culture, and history. He easily adapts his teaching technique to varying learning levels, and has an engaging and outgoing style that makes even beginners feel at ease with a new language. We are progressing happily into Italian 102 and look forward to having a basic ability to communicate while in Italy.

Not only is she fun and engaging - an excellent language instructor - but I can honestly say I've learned lot over the time I have worked with her. She goes above and beyond, tying in culture, exposing me to music, videos, and TV shows that take my language learning outside our hour today and into my everyday life. I know people say it's impossible to learn a new language as an adult - but Sthefany and AILI make me believe otherwise!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been studying Spanish on and off for over a decade, but with Sthefany it finally sticks! Each class we focus on the practical use of the language and cultural applications while we continue to refine what we've mastered to learn something new. It's extremely impressive how Sthefany utilizes her knowledge of language acquisition to build a bridge from English to Spanish. Also, she ensures that we cover all 4 domains of language - speaking, listening, reading, and writing- to give us a full command of Spanish. She provides great communication throughout the week and is very helpful with our optional homework assignments and real-life learning extensions. Class is always fun and quite literally the thing I most look forward to every week. Each class, I feel more confident than before. We've recently moved to a new building with better classrooms and furniture. I'm excited for the new TV that we'll be getting soon to make our lessons even more engaging. Experiencia fantástica: Stehefany R Is a very pleasant and articulate person who has the ability to express her vision,ideas,clarity and fluency in teaching beginners in learning Spanish. She incorporates the basic traditional 3 R's of Reading, Writing and Arithmetic in a fun, encouraging, and inviting atmosphere. She gives the right of time and attention in Reading, listening, writing and play rolling so as to not create complacency in learning a new language. Besides the teaching aspect of learning any new language, I like the fact that Sthefany also incorporates some culture and history so that I can better relate and comprehend specific words, meaning and orgination. I would highly recommend her as your teacher of choice as she also takes her time in explaining and always refreshing things previously learnt to refresh, remind and polish up your writing and more importantly everyday talking skills. Experiencia fantástica: Today was my first Italian 101 class with the Atlanta International Language Institute and what a great experience! Upon arrival the facility was a buzz of activity – clearly the place to be for “live” classes! We received a warm welcome from Huraiyah and she provided flexible options for scheduling. Our instructor, Francesco, as a native Italian, was terrific and laid a solid foundation for our 10-week series. Looking forward to more!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking Korean classes with Mrs.Miryung. I cannot stress enough how much I love these classes! Personally, I prefer the private lessons cause of how much we are able to cover- we’ve been going at a pace where we are able to cover a lot of information but it’s not overwhelming. I enjoy the little anecdotes she gives about her time in Korea as well!! Huraiyah is amazing as well, always happy to help and answer any questions I have. They have a great team at AILI!

Experiencia fantástica: I started taking Korean language classes in January of this year (2025). I began with group lessons and then transitioned into private lessons. My 선생님 (teacher) Ms.Miryung has been the best. Before starting I was familiar with the Hangul, knew a few words/ phrases (from apps), but couldn’t form a sentence. But 8 months later I’m able to read with more rhythm, write with more confidence, and speak basic sentences (that could help me to survive in Korea). My 선생님 is very patient, understanding, and knowledgeable on how to teach me according to my style. She has much experience in what she does. As she corrected me, I applied it in my language study-time and I saw improvements overtime. She pushed me outside of my comfort zone but she was with me along the way. I would strongly recommend AILI if you desire to learn a language with someone or even in a group setting. At times learning a language has been daunting but my 선생님and the AILI staff is so helpful, kind, and desires for you to receive the best results. Thank you for being a part of my journey.

I started classes with a small amount of conversational Spanish and she has taken me to the next level. My vocabulary has increased, my grammar has improved, and I’ve learned so much about Latin American culture. I look forward to each class. AILI can have all my money.

Experiencia negativa: Never again. Waste of time and money. Update: after terrible customer service and communication where I showed up for class only to find out the class had been cancelled…. And constant back and forth I started classes over a month than originally planned. Only to find out the teacher is terrible. After an uncomfortable and unfortunate incident during class I decided it was better to leave and not return than continue. Again. All around, I would not recommend this school.

Experiencia positiva: I've been taking language classes here since the beginning of the year and really enjoy them. The classes are small, which is great when learning a new language. However, the front desk needs to improve its organization and communication. On my first day, I drove 30 minutes one way only to find out the teacher wouldn't be starting, and they forgot to notify me. I've had to stay on top of them to ensure things are done correctly, and they've made several errors with class dates. They even called me back and left a message returning my phone call when there wasn't a call to return because we had already spoken. This was very confusing and shows a lack of coordination. It seems like the front desk staff members are not on the same page, leading to confusion and more mistakes. I believe there needs to be better communication with clients and among the staff. While I understand mistakes happen, the consistent issues at the front desk need to be addressed. I would appreciate more professionalism and improvement in this area.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking French classes at AILI now for two years and love it! I appreciate the option of group versus individual, and they have offerings that fit my busy schedule. The teacher, Anna, is quite a delight! I highly recommend AILI for language classes.

Experiencia fantástica: This school is beyond what you could ask for. Kikuyo Silvestar was my and a friend's teacher and it was a life changing expdreince. Both of us were learning Japanese in order to go to Japan for work. We had to complete 150 hours within 2.5 months. During the prcess Kiki did more than train us in the language. We learned culture, traditions, and just got to talk in Japanese. In that time we were more than prepared for our trip. The school is one worth its weight in gold. Best of all we went on our schedule. No matter how rigorous or laid back you want, the learning and pacing is your own. I'll never forget this school, it was the first step in my move to Tokyo!

Experiencia negativa: I submitted my contact information through this facility’s website to inquire about Chinese classes. An associate called me, assigned me to a class, and sent me a confirmation email. However, when I arrived at the designated time and place, I was informed that the class was rescheduled to a different time slot and that the format was changed from in-person to online. I received zero notification prior to this. It was a complete waste of my time that a simple courtesy email or phone call could have prevented. If this behavior is indicative of the level of communication that is acceptable to this group, then I am glad that it happened before I invested too much time into it.

Experiencia fantástica: I had amazing experience from the beginning till the end of my courses! I contacted school regarding taking Russian OPI and Written test thru ACTFL. Delfina is an amazing teacher and was very flexible due my complicated schedule. I completed 40 hours for Russian OPI test and scored “superior” level and 20 hours completed for Russian Written Test and scored “Advance High”. They answered all of my question about exams, packages and what they cover. Delfina knew from the beginning what we have to focus on, to achieve high results and always gave honest feedback, which I appreciated a lot! Friendly military staff and communication between staff members , students and professors just amazing and quick!

Experiencia fantástica: This school is so amazing and our teacher SthefanyFerrer is one of the best teachers I've ever had, I've been through such a long path to get to this school from my yoga teacher who also taught Spanish who told me after a couple of sessions, she couldn't help me because I needed vocabulary for real estate (I’m a Realtor) and she said “that was too much work because of all the Latin American countries had different names for hot water heater, furnace, basement etc”, to my landlord who taught me Spanish for a while then she moved to back to Argentina, too my most recent school which is over on Lenox Rd. And because I didn't pay two months in advance and not enough people signed up they just cancelled the whole class and then a month later called me and said “hey we've got a new class for you...” Well my long strange Spanish trip is over I found my final destination and it’s the best place to become fluent in Spanish (as well as a multitude of other languages!) with the best teachers and it's super convenient right off 285 and 400, you can't go wrong.

Experiencia fantástica: It took me awhile to find a school that taught foreign languages after Highschool and now that I’m learning Japanese I am so glad that i was able to find this place. The Japanese teacher Freeman Sensei is a wonderful teacher who really breaks down Japanese in a way that makes easy to understand. I would highly recommend learning from if you’ve always wanted to learn Japanese but didn’t know where start.

She is very charismatic and passionate about the language, and it helps to motivate anyone learning it. The materials used are pretty standard, such as the Genki textbook, but she always makes sure to add her own insights and notes to whatever she's teaching, giving further context to what you learn. It has really helped me skyrocket my comprehension and affection for such a unique language, and I'm very glad to be taking the class. Well worth the money!

I look forward to going to class every week because of the positive atmosphere that Lampra brings and anticipation for what we’ll learn next. I’ve learned so much in this class and could not imagine 3 years ago being where I am with this language today. I definitely recommend this school to people wanting to learn a language!

Experiencia fantástica: I am a student at the Atlanta International Language Institute and I am studying ASL (American Sign Language). I absolutely enjoy learning this language. The instructor is amazing. She not only teach how to communicate with the deaf and hearing impaired, she also teaches about deaf culture. She is enthusiastic, loves to teach, and also very supportive. I have been taking ASL at the Atlanta International Language Institute for 5 months now and have the ability to understand conversations between deaf individuals. I can also communicate with people in the deaf culture. I would highly recommend this class for any individual that may want to learn sign language to communicate with deaf and hearing impaired individuals. It is a wonderful language to learn.

Thanks to Héctor's impeccable skills, I successfully completed the interpreter examination at my workplace. If you want to learn Spanish, Héctor at AILI is your man.

Experiencia fantástica: The Atlanta Language Institute has been life-changing for me. I went them to learn Dutch, which is a rare request. I’m have taken over 24 hours of classes and feel so confident about my ability to become a fluent Dutch speaker. I’m even planning to take another 20 hours of classes to further improve. Their staff is responsive and accommodating and great to work with. Lastly they are able to provide instructors who are native speakers which makes the learning more practical. I’m really glad that I chose the Atlanta Language School!

Experiencia negativa: I initially enjoyed my classes here and the professor was good. After a few months of taking classes I decided to withdraw and find another school. There was an incident that could have been avoided had the owner been upfront with me as a customer. The owner of the school had acted unprofessional and I refuse to do business with them again. She made it clear that she doesn't care about the student's/customer's experience. There are much better schools in the Atlanta area. Experiencia fantástica: I am currently learning Spanish at Atlanta Language School and absolutely love my class! My teacher is Mrs. Silvana, who also teaches Italian. She is amazing! She makes sure I am applying what I learn not just in class, but when I leave the classroom, so that I am able to learn a lot quickly! She is the best teacher! I am currently at week 25 and hope to be almost fluent by 40. After I finish Spanish, maybe I will start French or Italian. I really enjoy being back in a learning environment, and teachers like Silvana make the whole experience very rewarding. Thank you for helping me achieve a lifelong goal of learning Spanish!

Experiencia negativa: I had such high expectations for the Atlanta International Language Institute and I was sorely disappointed. Like many other reviewers have said, they are horribly disorganized and lacking in communication. I was supposed to start a level 102 class but was given the wrong date and the class had already started. I was also the only one in a class and wasn't told my class was only lasting 5 weeks (instead of the 7 weeks which I was told was the norm for a small class). Teachers would talk to folks at the front desk during my session about future classes they were signed up for. No thanks - I'll learn my language somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking Korean with Sooyoung for about 6 months now. I love the language so much! In this time I admit I am still scared to speak it, but I can translate basic sentences like "I studied at the coffee shop" or "I walk to school", and a bit more complex ones like "I get to work by bus", "While I was in _____, I wanted to see you!" etc. I take private lessons, so my experience might be a bit different to a group class one. Regardless, Sooyoung is an amazing teacher who is always open to questions, and always explains them even if it's something you've already learned. She never makes you feel inadequate, which makes the class really relaxed and encourages the learning process. For my class, we also sometimes go over Korean stories, culture, and customs, which enriches the language experience overall. The book used is Integrated Korean which is also used at a lot of colleges, so if you plan to keep taking Korean you might be able to pick up where you left off. Sooyoung is open to teaching the class how the student/s wish so if you want more conversation, culture for a trip or job, reading & writing, assessment based learning, etc., it's possible! I really love taking Korean here, and if you are interested in other languages, I know the other teachers are awesome as well.

Now, I have no doubt that my money has been used as makeshift incense and is smoldering in a crispy pile on the administrator’s desk, but I deserve at least ONE language service for the THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS that was taken from me: Can you translate “This business may seem like it is run by an opiated pack of lobotomized chimps, but do not be deceived! It is actually run by a pack of filthy thieves!” With all sarcasm aside, I am deeply disappointed with how this entire ordeal was handled. Since paying the $300, I waited over a month for my lessons to begin and did not receieve a single one, nor the promised refund. I’m 22, I don’t have a lot of money. I just want mine back.

As I had already had a background studying the language, they did an amazing job tailoring the curriculum to my level and focusing on weak areas. They are able to teach any level whether you are starting from zero or trying to bolster skills for your profession. It has definitely been a great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at AILI has been worth every penny. Haibin is an outstanding Chinese instructor. She brings quality resources and learning techniques to every lesson. She maintains high expectations, yet is patient and willing to practice with you continuously until you get it right. She meets you exactly where you are, and guides you to perfect your abilities. She expects 100% effort from the beginning, but in the process you quickly develop confidence and proficiency in the Chinese language. Overall, I have found my time at AILI (through Haibin's instruction) very beneficial and will definitely consider AILI should I decide to pursue another language.

The staff is friendly and funny. My current Japanese course has been so fun and engaging, and Emiko knows just how to tailor her class to any burning questions I might have at the moment. I would highly recommend the courses (and the teacher!) to anyone looking to take Japanese. I also hear excellent things about the other languages. I wish I had the time to take more of them!

Experiencia fantástica: I started a French course which I was really enjoying, the instructor is English but his French was impressive. For different reasons I had to change the subject to English and the instructor and staff were so flexible and let me continue with an English lesson even though I got registered for French. I´m enjoying every lesson and learning tons of new stuff!

Experiencia negativa: The Instructor was nice and qualified but wasn’t the best teacher. However, the real problem is with the administration. They are extremely unprofessional. They do not return calls, they do not resolve problems. They do not refund money or make good on missed classes even if the reason was understandable. They change the scheduled day for the class to secure a new student without regard to existing students whose money they already have. And if you miss classes due to their schedule change you won’t get any help from them because they won’t return your phone calls and will keep ignoring you in person while they take or even make calls related to potential new students. Also they are twice the price for half the classes as other places. I would not recommend choosing this place. Don’t waste your time and money. Find another option.

I would like to be more invested in the material than the weekly class.

Experiencia negativa: I wholeheartedly agree with everything Lizzy said below. Classes are cancelled with little notice. You or your t time is not valuable to them. Emails and phone calls are not returned timely. Time is wasted in class trying to print or find material. The only time they cared about anything is when they want you to renew a course. See copied post from another user below: I would highly not recommend taking a class here. They are extremely unprofessional. The teachers do not have consistent coursework or books; instead, they make worksheets on their computers and then spend half of class trying to print them for you to view. There was no syllabus, book, or structure to the course. I was told a book was included in the price of the course.When I emailed and called to discuss this with the management team, I was asked if they could return my call later, and I still haven't heard back. I have been trying for about 2 1/2 weeks to get in touch with someone at the school to share my experience, and no one will respond to me. I do not recommend taking a course with a company as unprofessional as this one.
