Fantastic experience: Guys this school is amazing especially the band! These kids are going places, this year they went to Disneyland and they’ve won many awards. The only thing about this school that is kind of bad is 4th grade 2022.The Middle school side though has some stories…but I feel like this year this upcoming school year will be better.

Negative experience: DO NOT BE FOOLED! This school is seems super good and everyone seems to believe that it’s a good school yeah it might seem good for all the TK-6 Side it was an amazing experience watching my son grow up in such a nice environment he just entered 7th Grade and the Middle School Side of the school Is DISGUSITNG!! Students are constantly getting into fights. My son was jumped in the bathroom and none of the staff batted an Eye the staff is very biased to the middle school students and are constantly RUDE! DO NOT ENROLL UR STUDENTS HERE FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL. Students (7-8) Are constantly high on POT or drunk off Alcohol and students are selling CRACK in the bathrooms. Do NOT BE FOOLED BY THE APPEARANCE OF THE SCHOOL. I wanted to add onto this review and speak on the fact that this school is giving no one these middle schoolers real consequences. They preach Uniform but i have not seen a single middle school student wear the uniform besides my son. The clothes THESE GIRLS BE WEARING super inappropriate. Also my coworkers daughter who’s also in 7th grade got beat up by another student. Yet again ms diaz (the principal) has failed to give a single good consequence. Not only that the amount of videos these students have of fights is Outrageous. This school is raising a bunch of criminals.

Negative experience: I will speak up about this school, sadly it isn’t a great school. I posted a review before saying how rude the staff are, i’m still with that opinion. But the thing about this school that i wonder is if they even care about the students that attend… My sister goes here and was going to get jumped by this girl who didn’t even go there; it got to the point where my sister had to get pulled out to not attend, i don’t want to say this but this is so ghetto. I read the recents reviews and agreed with them. The school system sucks so much that they can’t do nothing about the fights that happen. What’s the point of fights? These are kids who should be learning. Fights are useless, they will grow up and think how they’ll regret it and one more thing the school never got back to me about me about how one of the teachers tried opening my car door, i went home with bad anxiety and called the school about it but never heard anything. This school will show how they don’t really care???

Negative experience: One of the office ladies with a purple blouse was very rude. I came in asking to pick up my child and she gave me attitude and told me that I couldn’t. She then told me how I was a bad influence and not letting my child have an education but when the principal came in the room she started to be nice and understanding. Please improve on etiquette and attitude towards the parents.

Negative experience: We need a new principal! She needs to learn to discipline the children because they do what they want with no consequence bad. she needs to take control of the school! If the principal doesn’t step up like she should, like other schools do , this school is going to turn out even worse then it already is. We need to replace this principal!

Fantastic experience: We *love* CCLA so much! Wonderful, dedicated and inspiring teachers & principal; supportive and active parental community is the best in the city (and amazingly dual-language always); plus your kids will bilingual, biliterate, and biliterate in the most essential languages of the U.S.

Fantastic experience: Great school! My daughter started in TK never having heard Spanish and after graduating the Kinder program this year , I am happy to say she can read, write and speak confidently in Spanish. I believe in this program and the benefit of being bilingual. The staff not only cares for our children but sends their children to learn here as well. The parent volunteers go above and beyond to make our school great! I am very happy with my decision to send my daughter here. If you choose CCLA you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: My son and daughter both go to CCLA and I couldn't be more impressed with the teachers and our wonderful principal. I also love the sense of community and support from the parents as well. My children are not only learning the spanish language but are getting a well rounded education academically and culturally. Love our school!

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished 3rd grade here, transfering from another Immersion School. We love that she had PE, Art, and Science class each week, along with learning Spanish and English. The school also has so many FREE after school clubs. She got to participate in Baile Folklorico, Baking club, and Hip Hop! Talk about the whole child!

Fantastic experience: Our family LOVES CCLA! My son will be in 2nd grade this fall, and he is reading and writing in Spanish and in English and simply loves learning! His teachers have been fun, patient and fully invested in his learning. The office staff and principal are all so involved and dedicated to happy, safe and healthy kids (not just test scores). It is a refreshing school environment to be part of! We are so proud and thankful to be part of the CCLA family!

Fantastic experience: This place is -- in a word -- AMAZING! My children are growing up not only bilingual, but also with a greater awareness of other cultures. The teachers and staff are engaged and committed, and I am so fortunate that my children go here.

Fantastic experience: Our family loves CCLA. We love that our kids are receiving a wonderful education and a cultural experience. My children are becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural, thanks to the teachers, staff and the school's cultural environment. We owe this school everything.

Fantastic experience: My Son has been attending CCLA since Kindergarten and has learned so much. It's so important to our family that my son has all the resources to be successful in his future. He teaches me something new everyday :) Our school is expanding so fast in Santa Rosa and can wait to see what the future brings.

Fantastic experience: Love the fact that my child is not only learning the same level of curriculum has the primarily English teaching counterpart schools, but it's in a new language to him. While the school is still developing, I have had great experiences with the administration, staff and teachers.
