Fantastic experience: Janet provided an excellent after school German class for elementary kids yesterday. We are excited to offer this class again soon!

Fantastic experience: We took Spanish classes in Madrid, Spain as new missionaries to Spain. Our teacher was superb!!! I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I bought 8 hours of private lessons with an instructor this summer and it has been a wonderful experience. The instructor and I met virtually and she shaped the courses to my personal interests and goals for the language.

Fantastic experience: Janet is an excellent French teacher, and everyone at CSL is extremely communicative, helpful and friendly. Finding the right virtual schedule and level of French was extremely easy, and I hope to visit the school in person sometime soon! 10/10 would recommend as this is the best retention as a former French student that I’ve ever had, and my confidence is growing lesson after lesson.

Fantastic experience: My teacher, Bekah List, did an excellent job teaching this class. She spoke in the target language a large portion of the class but also spoke slow enough to allow us to comprehend what she was saying. She also had great in-class activities to help us further understand the target language. I'm excited about taking the next class in the Fall!

Fantastic experience: I took a Spanish class through my job and presented by CSL that focused mainly on conversational Spanish. The classes were twice a week alternating between in-person and virtual. My teacher was fantastic and encouraged learning through creative games, micro-conversations, and other verbal and written exercises. This class really helped me cater my vocabulary to the things I encounter at my job.

Fantastic experience: It is amazing to find in person classes so close to home. I am about to start my third term and so far my experience has been outstanding. My teacher is knowledgeable and great at helping students feel comfortable. It's a valuable experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking Korean kanguage classes and it's been a great experience. I'm so glad a place like this exists. My learning and understanding of the language and culture is much better than it ever would have been using apps alone. The teachers are knowledgeable and engaging. I also enjoy being in a group setting where we can practice with others, both listening and speaking. I highly recommend taking a class!

Fantastic experience: I am on year two of taking classes at CSL and I have learned so much! I started by taking an advanced Spanish group class that met during the day and two of us from that class decided to make it semi-private. CSL worked with us to find a day/time that fit. I love that our instructor tailors each class to what we want to focus on and I have the freedom to ask any random question I have. My teacher, Liz, is super supportive and goes above and beyond to help us improve our Spanish. I also signed my 3rd grader up for their kids' classes. He takes Spanish and French once a week. The classes are a great introduction to those languages. They also have immersive langauge trips that I hope to try in the future.

Fantastic experience: It's my 1st quarter, and I'm loving the class, the staff, and the other students. Everyone here is welcoming. Come and try it for yourself!

Fantastic experience: I have benefited greatly from the Chattanooga School of Language. My wife is a fluent French speaker and my 3 yrs of study at CSL have allowed me to participate with her in communicating with native French speakers and traveling throughout the Francophone world. CSL has not only helped me significantly increase my proficiency in the French language but has provided a community and wonderful new friendships. My instructor is the best instructor, Claire Vassort is a gifted educator and one of the best instructors I've ever had for any subject. I highly recommend CSL for anyone who would like to learn another language.

Fantastic experience: I began studying with CSL a few of years ago, and have nothing but praise! CSL has helped me grow my language skills from absolutely nothing, to being able to hold meaningful and productive conversations in both the community and professional settings. The culture of CSL is supportive and encouraging, and the opportunities to connect with other students as well as the community at large through various outreach activities is amazing. Additionally, the flexibility of programming, particularly in regards to the tailored class offerings for private, semi-private and small group classes are perfect for my busy schedule. I highly recommend CSL to anyone seeking to learn and understand a new language and culture!

Fantastic experience: I have used Chattanooga School of Language for my daughter for French tutoring as well as sending her on a French immersion trip to St Pierre and Miquelon with Emanuel. Nicole is a great tutor, and Laurie the owner of the school has a real passion for language and what she does. Highly recommend the school! The French immersion trip was well-planned with good communication, and really a great experience full of history, food, a language learning, and a beautiful island. A good blend of structure and free time. A great host family to.

Fantastic experience: I can say without a doubt that signing up for one-on-one Korean tutoring with CSL has been one of the best decisions of my life. My teacher has invested so much in me and my learning, and I can definitely see a difference in my proficiency. I keep renewing my term over and over and over again, because I just can't get enough ... I'm loving every minute!

Fantastic experience: If you have any language goal at all, I can promise you that Chattanooga School of Language will knock your socks off! I've been taking classes there for years across several different languages and instructors, and I am not exaggerating when I say that *every* class has boosted my language abilities - and in a warm and encouraging environment. In addition to the quality of the classes, I greatly appreciate that they are so easy to work with on the administrative side. They're very easy to communicate with over a variety of methods, which is a huge plus for a busy person (and what language learner isn't?!).

Fantastic experience: In these strange times, Laurie and her team have adapted to provide engaging and entertaining ways to teach and share their love of language. I've taken both group classes and small one-on-one sessions and have always felt empowered to use Spanish at every opportunity. They've tapped into a different way of teaching; rather than just reading and writing various conjugations and grammar, they instead present the language in a way that is learned rather than memorized through repetition, physical movements, and games. ¡Estoy muy emocionada por la próxima clase en el otoño!

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome, it keeps me sane in Chattanooga. I found like-minded people who are interested in learning language, travel, and other cultures. The teachers are all awesome. I've taken classes with three so far. The Korean instructor is so animated and fun that I look forward to the class and energized when I leave. The Spanish class is engaging and challenging. The assignments require a lot of thought and preparation. If you're looking to learn, maintain, or continue a language, this is the place. Classes I've taken Korean 1&2 Advanced conversational Spanish 1&2

Fantastic experience: Impressively speaking, this young lady to even opened up a school like this is truly amazing! Her passion, her zeal, her enormous energy, but mostly humble disposition to listen to a total stranger with Patience giving answers witg genuine kindness.
