Fantastic experience: This camp is the best! My kids have a blended heritage, so having the most wonderful, warm, and loving environment for them to comfortably learn Spanish and more about their Hispanic heritage right here in our area is a Godsend. Every teacher we’ve interacted with, be it at summer camp or private lessons, has been fantastic. They truly care about the kids! I see my kids truly becoming more bilingual and even bicultural more easily than when we lived in Miami. Gracias FALA!

Fantastic experience: My son is going into kindergarten this year and this was his first summer doing any kind of camp. He absolutely loved it! The teachers were so friendly and he came home every day telling me all about how much fun he had and how much he learned. I was worried sending off my little one for the first time, but he reported that all of the kids and teachers were friendly to him. We can’t wait to send him again next summer and are hoping to enroll him in Spanish classes with them as well.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Fala Summer program. This is our 3rd year! Each week the kids explore a new Latin country, learning about its food, geography, music, and dance—it’s such a fun and immersive experience. My daughter comes home every day energized and excited to share what she’s learned. The facilitators are fantastic—engaging, caring, and truly passionate about what they do. I also really appreciate the attention to security; it feels like a very safe and well-organized environment for the kids. It is indeed such a wonderful experience for my daughter, and we’re so grateful for the creativity and care the team puts into making each week special!

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old son is completing his 2nd summer of FALA Spanish camp and it is the most wholesome camp any of my kids have been a part of. To introduce Spanish and culture through so many different activities each week and to do it so seamlessly and with such heart is such a rare find these days. The ladies truly love the children and love sharing their language and culture with them.

Fantastic experience: My 2 kids have been going to Fala’s summer camp for 3 years in a row! Definitely the best camp in Jacksonville! Not only the kids learn Spanish, they also have kids cooking lessons and we all love it! Ms.Adriana and Ms.Gladys love these kids as if they were their own. Can’t wait to be back next year!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has attended FALA’s camp programs for both winter break and summer, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The staff members are kind and supportive. My daughter had no prior Spanish experience, but she felt included and welcomed. They engage kids in so many activities from cooking to stem and crafts. No screen time. She came home happy and tired. A total win!

Fantastic experience: TL;DR: FALA is a great camp with wonderful teachers who teach the kids about different Hispanic countries and cultures. They brought my son out of his shell and showed him how COOL speaking Spanish is, and he’s been sharing all kinds of facts about foods and different countries with us. He definitely had a blast and I want to send him back next summer! Long version: My son’s first language was Spanish, but he had a bit of a speech delay and didn’t start truly speaking until he was around 3 1/2 years old. By that time, he was already in pre school and daycare, so he got more practice speaking in English than in Spanish. Then of course, his IEP speech therapy was/is in English. The only practice he gets these days is at home, and while he sometimes tries, he gets discouraged and tries to get away with Spanglish or communicating by hand gestures and onomatopoeias! This was his first summer after big kid school, so we had to find a separate summer camp for him while we went to work. We saw FALA mentioned on social media somewhere and decided to look into it. After some discussion, my husband and I decided to sign him up and see if it got him to speak more Spanish! I could tell he was unsure at first, but now at the end of summer, he has definitely gotten more confident in his Spanish. He loves his teachers, told me about all the fun things they did, got to try cute little snacks they would make in class, sang songs about the different countries and their capitals, and even got cute little passport photos at the end of each week. I am so glad we decided to put him in FALA for the summer. They were flexible, which is a huge plus (I had a bi-weekly schedule arranged with my work to help a bit with the cost), and everyone is so very kind. My son has definitely started speaking more Spanish now that he sees how big of a world is out there and how cool being able to speak two languages is. I plan on sending him back next summer!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience for my daughter, from the beginning of camp, I felt that everyone involved truly cared for my daughter. Everyone on the staff was so patient with her. My entire family could feel the love. They exposed my daughter to so many different cultures and she enjoyed every day she spent with the FALA. I fully recommend to program.

Fantastic experience: Our boys have attended FALA camp for several years and it is their favorite! They love the friendly staff and we love that they’re learning about different countries and cultures in a fun interactive way! They always ask when they can come back.

Fantastic experience: This is our second year and our family is blown away by our daughter’s kitchen confidence and safety after this camp! Her excitement around all things culinary has been so well cared for by the directors and helpers of the camp!

Fantastic experience: We have been sending our son to FALA for several years. It's a great program and the staff treat everyone like family. We are especially fond of Ms. Gladys - she is so kind and patient with the kids. My son plays hard and comes home happy. They also offer cooking and baking on certain weeks in the afternoon. My kiddo loves showing us what he made! Highly recommend this camp!

Fantastic experience: I am having a great experience with FALA’s online private lessons. Sra. Sofia is an amazing teacher! She is positive and kind; provides an effective combination of speaking, reading, and listening exercises; and explains concepts so well. I am being challenged and encouraged. Fantastic experience: Nothing but amazing things to say about FALA language academy!!! I was looking for Spanish lessons for my children and came across FALA online. Upon reaching out I spoke with the director Gladys and she gave us many options. I can honestly say that in the three months since we’ve started, my four-year-old has learned so much! They make the lessons fun, creative, and interactive. My daughter looks forward to going every week. I also cannot say enough about how incredibly accommodating, resourceful, and kind this organization. I feel so lucky to have found them! My husband Has also now enrolled because he was blown away by what a great job they have done with our children. Whether you are an adult or a child, brushing up or learning the language for the very first time, there is no other place I would recommend! Thank you FALA!!

Fantastic experience: We just concluded our first Summer Camp with FALA and it was an incredible experience for my daughter. She was so excited to go to camp every day and truly grew and learned so much about the countries, the culture and the LANGUAGE! She excited to learn more spanish and we look forward to next years summer camp!

Fantastic experience: FALA Summer Camp was wonderful! My 2 kids came home talking about all the facts they had learned and fun things they did. My older son also did the baking camp and had a great time. He came home with a whole cake fully decorated!

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing summer camp. My son has been going here for 3 years and loves it. This is the second time doing the baking and cooking camp. Both have been great experiences and the food he’s taken home has been amazing. We will be back next year!

Fantastic experience: My 4 sons love FALA camp. We have been sending them for several years and can say without a doubt that thus is their favorite summer camp! They stay well engaged in a wonderful, safe and thriving environment and have formed a great relationship with their instructors, especially Senñora Gladys! The instructors are amazing with the children- patient, energetic and know how to manage emotionally charged situations. The children learn about a different Latin American country every week and come home super excited, showing off their arts and crafts, including treats. I highly recommend FALA camp to both native and non-native Spanish speakers!

Fantastic experience: I have a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl and it is hard to find camps they both like - and they both LOVE FALA camp! The team that runs it is absolutely amazing - they are warm, helpful, and they were so great with my kids. We LOVE FALA camp!

Fantastic experience: My two kids just finished their first week of summer camp and enjoyed it tremendously! I wasn't sure what to expect. My youngest is quite shy and was very hesitant on the first day. He wanted to leave with me. I was fully expecting a phone call stating he is inconsolable and need to pick him up. That phone call never came, and instead at pick up, both kids had big smiles on their faces and could not wait for the next day to attend again! Everything was so organized and everyone we met and conversed with was so kind and helpful. Both my kids and I look forward to future weeks this Summer and beyond with FALA.

Fantastic experience: I am not easily impressed but this organization is A+ in my book. My daughter loved every minute of summer camp and is excited for winter camp coming up. The director, Mrs. Gladys AKA Senora Gladys is so kind and welcoming to the kids. She is the main reason we will be returning aside from the amazing spanish curriculum they offer.

Fantastic experience: I live in south Florida and I looked for a summer camp in Spanish for my son in my area, but I couldn’t find any. I found FALA online and I spoke to one of the coordinators. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. It was a big investment for my family to travel to Jacksonville so my son could attend this summer camp. This investment has paid off, my son has been learning Spanish in a safe and super fun environment. I believe giving our kids the gift of learning another language is such a big treasure. The teachers are native Spanish-speaking ladies who have a lot of experience teaching kids. They always prepare fun activities for each week. They focus on a different Spanish-speaking country every week. My son has been learning about Spain, Mexico, Venezuela and Chile so far. He comes home singing short songs in Spanish, he is also learning about the country’s capitals and their inventions. The kids are also taught how to cook nice desserts from each country. My kid is very proud of the desserts he makes at camp and brings them home to share them with the family which is super cute. The kids also get to play some sports, do paintings, watch movies and make art. On Fridays, they have splash days which the kids love, and they are sent home with a cool picture of the child at camp which is a great little gift. Overall, FALA is a great summer camp, and my son is having a great great time. I REALLY WISH FALA would offer a summer camp in south Florida soon!!!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend FALA, their attention to detail is exceptional, they make learning Spanish fun for our kids, it’s a great team, they take excellent care of the kids, my daughter is always very excited to join their summer camp. Bravo FALA, two thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: My son attended summer camp at the Discovery School and he LOVES it! He’s been enjoying making arroz con leche, playing fun games and speaking lots of Spanish!! We are so thrilled! He asked if he could stay all summer. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We adore this group of loving teachers. We enrolled our three year old in camp for the first time and it’s been so wonderful. He just walks right in and barely says goodbye he is so excited to play! They are so creative with their presentation of the different countries. He is singing Spanish songs to himself as he plays. As a non native speaker, I am loving that my half Puerto Rican son is getting exposed to his heritage language. I trust them with my baby! Bring your kid here!

Fantastic experience: Our 5 year old and 4 year old attended FALA after school classes this last year and most recently attended 2 weeks of FALA camp. We all loved it. Our boys were excited to go to camp and excited to show and tell me what they had learned. The instructors are enthusiastic and patient. We would recommend and plant to attend again next summer.

Fantastic experience: We intended to send our 4 year old son to FALA’s summer camp for 1 week in 2020. That one week turned into 4. He LOVED it and kept asking to go back. We plan on enrolling him in regular classes this fall. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: FALA Language Academy is one of the best programs in town for children! My daughter absolutely loves learning Spanish and they have made it so enjoyable by interactive activities. Some of them include sports, cooking, and STEM activities. We are looking forward to enrolling her into the Spanish Summer 2020 camp!

Fantastic experience: My children participated in this Spanish Summer Camp last summer and I could not be happier. Every day my children came home singing a new song, impressed with the new science experiment they had done, which they had cooked. The pedagogy of FALA is innovative, the concept of teaching Spanish while learning other subjects such as math, science, general culture is what I loved the most. I am looking forward FALA teaching Spanish the next school year somewhere close by. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it without a doubt. Soraya Godoy

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Fala Language Academy my kids attend last summer program and learn so much from each country in South America from music food and culture. The best part is that they got to cook themself each of the special food of each country Can’t wait for this summer to go back Gracias Fala teachers for the best experience!

Negative experience: My son attends an after school program (Spanish Club) with the Academy. My mother is fluent in Spanish and I know enough to get around if needed. My son hasn't learned much. My husband and I ask him every Wednesday about the activities and words he learns. Only once has he brought a worksheet home as review of what was covered. The Academy never left a good number to reach the instructor so recently, my son called us to inform us that the instructor did not show up; our family had to reorganize our plans to go get our son early. But the automatic payments come out promptly. I am in the process of cancelling now. I give it two stars only because the instructor is very nice. The program however, just does not work.

Fantastic experience: As an educator, I love seeing my students enjoy this opportunity! The kids love all of the creativity and hands on each week!!!
