Fantastic experience: I started off doing German classes as a group with my lovely teacher, Suzanne. After some members of the group dropped out of the class, Kristin was gracious and amazing on teaching me some lessons 1:1 until we have found another group. Kristin and Suzanne are both experienced with adapting on your personal needs and interest on how you learn. We did more personal conversations which helped a lot on trying to put some German into a real life scenario. If another group class ever opens up, I would absolutely take another one and recommend this to anyone willing to learn a new language!

My experience learning some Spanish was wonderful and my language "coach" used every minute of our encounters to explain what we were covering, why we were covering it and provided examples that really helped me, "get it"! My daughter signed up for upper level German and immediately realized she was in over her head. Fantastic experience: I took several months of Japanese lessons in preparation for a trip to Japan. Teruyo and I met by Zoom (she in Tokyo and me in Bon Air), and she was extremely well-prepared, responsive, and patient as I tried to learn a new language.in my 50s.

He was starting to fall far behind in Spanish 2 in school, but once he started sessions with Ms. Shelley, he started to understand things better, and enjoyed his time working with her! Fantastic experience: I've taken several semesters with Samy Garcia through Enjoyable Languages. He is a great teacher who finds creative ways to make practicing Spanish a delight! The payment methods and communication from Enjoyable Languages are also top notch, compared to the other institutes and individuals I've studied online Spanish with.

Fantastic experience: I have learned 3 languages now in the respective countries successfully. The way the languages are taught in the US are deplorable and laughable for the most part.....NOT the case with Enjoyable Languages. I paid for the package of 10 with 1:1 30 min lessons and I am in LOVE! This is the way to successfully learn a language in my opinion, not the quickie apps that promise fluency. If you are a budding polyglot or just wanting to learn some basics prior to a trip, they can handle anything you throw at them.

Kristin, the owner, is very communicative and accommodating and will work to find the right tutor for your needs/schedule. We had a great experience with Stacey (a certified teacher), who tutored my son through his 6th grade accelerated Math class last year. She tutored him both in person and virtually, according to our wishes. She was a great help as he adjusted to the demands of a Middle School gifted program with a heavy work load. With her assistance, he was able to develop better study habits, overcome stress, and find his stride to catch up from pandemic learning loss. Now he is handling Math just fine on his own.

Fantastic experience: Loved using Enjoyable for Geometry for my son. Started in the summer when he changed schools. It was a big help and he did well in school. Also helped him keep on track while in school. I plan to use them again if and when the need arises. And I refer parents to them.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyable Languages is amazing and I am so glad I found them. I study two languages with them and the tutors are so prepared, warm, and really helpful. Learning another language was always a bucket list item of mine and I was fed up with the apps that didn't teach at my pace or in a style that worked for me. In comes Enjoyable Languages! I am finally working towards my goals and seeing real progress; only a few months after starting Spanish, I went to Mexico and was so pleasantly surprised by my ability to pick up words and actually participate in conversations and understand what native speakers were saying. You don't get that kind of learning from Duolingo, that comes from a tutor who really immerses you. Thank you so much Enjoyable Languages!

Our math tutor really connects with our child, makes the lessons fun, and is very spirited. I have appreciated his dedication and the thoughtful way he approaches each session. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!! I had a very specific goal of preparing for an overseas trip, with only two weeks to schedule lessons. I already had a basic speaking/listening ability in the language, but wanted to feel more confident communicating during the trip. Moreover, the basic level I had was of a completely different accent from my destination, thus I really wanted to learn at least a little bit more before going .I ended up doing four lessons total. The lessons were catered perfectly to fit that need, intentionally skipping over what one might find in typical language lessons and instead focusing on both topics and aspects of language learning that would serve me best during the trip. Considering how custom-made the lessons were I was also quite satisfied with the pricing. It had been a while since I had studied a foreign language formally, and just like the company name suggests, I feel I was able to rediscover how truly *enjoyable* of a process it can be!

We started out doing virtual sessions and then did some in-person lessons as I prepared for a trip to Berlin. Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking one on one Spanish lessons with Celia for about 2 years now. I look forward to our weekly classes so much! I’ve noticed a *significant* increase in my conversational Spanish this last year and my comfort and confidence speaking with my community members. I also use Duo, which helps with vocabulary acquisition but my conversation skills would NOT be where they are without the addition of my weekly person to person lessons. I wish I could give Enjoyable Languages more than 5 stars honestly

Fantastic experience: Folks, this works. If you are like me and had a few years of a language in high school and have always regretted not using it more, then this is for you. What you need is immersion and one on one conversations. Within just a few sessions, I found myself using Spanish in my every day life again. I found myself comprehending again without trying and without having to translate. Don't hesitate. Do this. I worked with Shelley Pickens who is not only an outstanding educator in her day job, she is an outstanding mentor for this type of immersion study.

Fantastic experience: I loved working with Enjoyable Languages! They were so easy to work with, and I was surprised at how much I learned even meeting only twice a month. I took Italian, and it was so much fun! I needed to stop after having a baby and then moving (not enough mental capacity). Fortunately, they have a new program where the instructor will come to your house. I’m using this for my children for homeschool, and am learning right alongside of them. I can’t recommend them enough. It’s worth the money if you want to learn a new language, and really works!

From initial inquiry to the first lesson was less than a week, and Kristin clearly works hard to set up good communication between families and teachers. Mink is one of the best Thai teachers I’ve interacted with. She is patient, encouraging, and has tailored the lessons to match our 6-year-old daughter’s interests. For instance, once she learned our daughter loves Paw Patrol she started using Paw Patrol characters in her dialogue examples. She has sent coloring sheets and songs to reinforce lesson content, and celebrates with us when our daughter gains confidence in using new Thai vocabulary. Enjoyable Languages with Mink is truly a high-value resource for Thai language learning!

Fantastic experience: In 2021, I took German lessons through Enjoyable Languages to build my vocabulary — and confidence! — for a trip to Austria. My instructor was the co-founder Kristin Roberts. She is FANTASTIC! At Enjoyable Languages, the teachers are committed to making language acquisition FUN! Kristin customized all my lessons, and the majority of my “homework” was to watch German-language programming on Netflix. My favorite show was “Zeit der Geheimnisse” (Time of Secrets). Thanks to Kristin, I learned about a Google Chrome extension called Learning Language with Netflix (LLN), which put subtitles on the screen in English (my native language) and German (the target language). As an audio-visual learner, I benefitted from the ability to press pause and write new words (with the correct spelling) in my notebook. With Enjoyable Languages, you set your own schedule — lessons are conducted online during timeslots and at frequencies convenient for you! For example, you can meet with your teacher fortnightly, weekly, twice per week, or at whatever cadence you choose. In short, thanks to the friendly, high-quality teachers, I give Enjoyable Languages 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I loved my experience with enjoyable languages! My instructor was so fun and outgoing and managed our time in the online class with mastery. She made sure we had plenty of time to practice speaking and the small class sizes are conducive to getting to know and form relationships with your classmates. I am currently learning Spanish but would love to explore another language to learn in this format.

This is truly a unique experience that is completely different from that of a classroom environment where curriculum is preset to address an entire class. She also cares about my progress and shapes the lessons to fit my goals. Since working with Rashmi, I am able to better understand the language and can have basic conversations with others in Hindi. Fantastic experience: I heard about this company through an online search. I loved that it was local. Kristin was very easy to contact with questions prior to our start. I did 6 months of weekly one on one zoom meetings. My instructor Samy tailored each of our Spanish lessons according to my level and what I needed to learn or review. Fantastic experience: I participated in the Spanish program at Enjoyable Languages Fall 2023 and they were great! They've got a ton of languages to pick from (like 15+!). The vibe there is super flexible, which is great for anyone no matter where they're at in their language journey. Speaking from experience, my chat game in Spanish has leveled up big time, especially in more chill settings. And let's talk about the pricing – it's a steal for what you're getting. Quality education that won't break the bank. While I can't speak for everyone, I've seen a real boost in my language skills. If you're on the hunt to start fresh with a new language, brush up on what you know, or just amp up your current skills, I've got to say, Enjoyable Languages is where it's at. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this individual language learning group highly enough! You work directly with your teacher one-on-one, implementing the curriculum or the goals that you want for your program. You develop your program in tandem with your tutor, and then you get to work! It's affordable, it's fun, it's effective! There was an almost 10-year lag between my last language instruction and my first EL class and I have regained and gone so far beyond my previous proficiency astounding! It is easy to fit into a busy schedule, the people are passionate about language learning and find solutions to help everyone be successful!

Fantastic experience: So far, I've participated in a few of the Spanish conversation clubs with Sami and Graciela and have been blown away! The conversations are fun and relaxed but offer such a critical way to increase not just comprehension, but also confidence. I would encourage anyone looking to increase their speaking abilities to participate in these. All the teachers at Enjoyable Languages have such a passion for what they do, and the owner KNOWS how to effectively teach and learn languages. I've been so happy with their services that I'm continuing 1-1 classes with them to prep for an internship in Mexico!

Fantastic experience: Let me tell you how wonderful this group is… They have expertise to work with adults and children, and a wide range of languages available. Our family loves that it is more conversation based, and that you can begin to have semi-fluent conversations in a new language. You won’t find a more structured, laid-back, language learning system around. It is especially helpful having Maestra Hayden as a teacher for the children, because she is a mom herself, and kids just gravitate to her! She has high energy, and a very unique way of keeping young children engaged in learning a new language!

Fantastic experience: I’m embarrassed to say my mother is from Latin America and that I couldn’t hold a conversation with her in Spanish. I hadn’t taken Spanish classes since high school and it all left me. I spoke with Kristin who was so nice as I explained my situation and insecurities and she made me feel less embarrassed and got me excited to begin learning Spanish again. Because I still had some of what I learned tucked deep inside my brain, she created lessons for me that were built off what I already knew. She’s like my accountabili-buddy and I’ve been working with her for almost 2 years now on a weekly basis. She is incredibly flexible and works to suit my busy work and life schedule. My Spanish has improved SO much - even better than when I lived at home and took school Spanish classes. Me encanta Enjoyable Languages!

Fantastic experience: I have learned so much German from this!!!! It is super fun and engaging lessons. I have learned so many practical vocabulary and everyday phrases from Kristin. I even learned how to say Quicksand in German and mein Leben (life) will never be the same!!! If you want to learn a language this is the way.

Fantastic experience: Kristin goes above and beyond to find someone for YOUR kid! Someone that clicks with YOUR kid. All 3 of my kids are taking language lessons (Irish, Japanese, and Russian) and Kristin has managed to fill their hearts with excitement and passion! Oldest kid (16): he wanted to learn Irish and they didn’t have an Irish teacher. So they found one, for him! And now my son has a goal to pass the Irish proficiency test. Middle kid (15): Japanese. His teacher is so encouraging and patient with him! My middle kid gets distracted easily and changes his wants and desires so quickly. But his desire for Japanese learning has stayed! I attribute that to his Japanese teacher! Youngest kid (9): Russian. My youngest wanted to learn a language after seeing her older brothers! She chose Russian. Her teacher is the sweetest, kindest person. Her passion is contagious. My daughter is pretty self-conscious but I don’t see any of that when she’s doing her lesson. Her teacher puts her right at ease and my daughter has fallen in love with her!

Fantastic experience: We signed up for the beginning group Spanish class and had such a great experience. The class is taught by a native speaker and I think that really helps with learning how to pronounce everything correctly. During the first class, the teacher reviewed our current skill level of Spanish for everyone in the group and was able to tailor the lessons to address those of us who had very little Spanish exposure and those of us who had more experience and were looking for more of a refresher course. We’re planning a trip to Spain and our teacher even highlighted some of the different words and pronunciations that we may encounter between what he was teaching and what we might encounter. The class was fun and engaging and I was surprised by how quickly our time came to an end and I looked forward to our lesson the following week.

Fantastic experience: As a global health organization working in Central America, we have many volunteers who want to improve their Spanish prior to their volunteer experience. Or we find that their work in communities inspires them to want to then return home and improve their Spanish. Either way, we have been recommending Enjoyable Languages for several years now and had nothing but amazing feedback! The best thing about Enjoyable languages is the flexibility.
