Experiencia fantástica: An absolute delightful experience! My sister and I have been taking classes with Hablemos Academy for months and I have never had a better experience learning Spanish. I took many years of Spanish in High school and College, and this has been a superior experience to all of those. We look forward to our class every week, our instructor is kind, patient and a wonderful teacher. At first I was worried I would struggle doing Zoom classes, but it has been more effective than the in-person classes I have taken and on top of all that, we save time and money doing it from our home! I can't endorse Jaime and Hablemos Academy more. Sign up now, you will not regret it, I promise :)

Experiencia fantástica: I tried learning through Duolingo and my brain can’t memorize words that I don’t understand so it didn’t really work for me So I decided to get a personal tutor and start from the ground up Jaime taught me the sounds that the letters make, and we built from there. He is very patient and encouraging. And after some time, it really starts to add up and I can see that with a little more time I’m going to be able to start communicating in Spanish. He is a very good teacher. I’m very glad I signed up for his classes.

This program is comprehensively designed for practical application of the language. I sought Spanish lessons to use in the work place. My instructor tailored the coursework to my needs thereby accelerating my utilization. Additionally, I find the on-line classes to be helpful because I can attend classes even when I am traveling. Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking private lessons with Jaime for a little over three months, and I'm astonished at how quickly I've progressed! With each class, I feel more and more confident in communicating in Spanish. The Hablemos curriculum is designed in a systematic, logical way that relies less on memorizing and more on understanding the structure of the language. I feel that I am being given the keys to comfortably understand and talk with Spanish speakers. If you are motivated and willing to put in the work, this is best program around! UPDATE: After 18 months of taking two one-hour lessons a week (with month-long summer and Christmas breaks and time off for various vacations), I recently traveled to Mexico City and was able to communicate confidently and effectively in Spanish! Jaime knows exactly how to pace the lessons to give you experience in speaking, listening, learning, and reviewing, and he is willing to accommodate your schedule. Don't hesitate to choose Hablemos!

Experiencia fantástica: Just finished section 1 here at Hablamos and really enjoyed it. Classes are small enough that you can always get your questions answered. You cant beat the price when you break it down cost per hour. There book provides extra material to study on your own as well as audio CDs to learn the pronunciations and sounds. Had 1 private lesson as well and it was great to work on specifics and get expert help. I would highly recommend for all Spanish students of any level.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I are adult learners who had talked for years about learning a second language. After a brief stint with German via Rosetta Stone, we decided that we needed to learn something more practical in our day to day lives. Learning Spanish was the obvious decision. Less obvious was where to receive instruction. We had tried Rosetta Stone before and found it mostly ineffective. In person instruction seemed like our best option. After looking at online reviews, we decided to contact Hablemos Spanish Academy. We have been working with Jaime Pena of Hablemos for a little over a year now. It has been a productive and enjoyable experience. We opted for private instruction, though I believe the group classes are also excellent. The advantage of private lessons is more flexibility and self-pacing on the content. The instruction we've received has been excellent. I very much recommend Hablemos for anyone seriously interested in learning Spanish. The structure of the curriculum makes sense and the instruction is superb. While we have more work to put in before we approach fluency, I very much expect us to reach that goal at Hablemos.

The class sizes are small and allow for individual attention and ensure that everyone is learning the material. Overall I had a wonderful experience at the school and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn or refresh their Spanish.

Experiencia fantástica: Before starting private lessons at Hablemos Spanish Language Academy, I have tried learning Spanish using Rosetta Stone and through friends. My biggest struggle was understanding the rules of the language. Jaime, started from the basics and explained the rules so well now after 14 hours of private lessons, I can already put together 5-10 word sentences. I highly recommend this academy for anyone who wants to learn Spanish.

Experiencia fantástica: I started at Hablemos Spanish Language Academy with no background in Spanish, and now have a decent grasp of the language. I started in group classes and now I'm in a semi-private class with Jamie, the owner of the academy, as the instructor. His energy is amazing and he is so encouraging and fun. The pace of our classes is set by our progression as group. I do not feel rushed or uncomfortable in any way. It is a great experience. I would highly recommend taking classes no matter what your current level of Spanish may be.

Experiencia fantástica: Previously, I tried a number of different programs for learning Spanish, including computer and online systems as well as a private tutor. While I made some progress, I did not ever feel that I was learning Spanish as effectively as I could. Then, I found Hablemos Academy. The program at Hablemos is fantastic. Everything builds neatly on what you have learned earlier. I can actually see and understand my progress in learning the language. Just as important as the program, the instructions at Hablemos are wonderful. Jaime Peña, the founder of the Academy, is a masterful teacher. He has great enthusiasm, loves questions and answers those questions with skill. He is very encouraging and increases my desire to master the Spanish language. Hablemos has also been very flexible with my crazy schedule so as to keep my progress moving forward. Thanks, Hablemos!

Experiencia fantástica: I rarely write reviews, but once in a while when I experience something I appreciate or enjoy so much....I feel the responsibility to share. I took a few years of Spanish in high school almost 20 years ago and 2 years ago I purchased a popular language software to learn on my own. I wish I would have found the Hablemos Academy sooner. I am good at working on my own but I found the software could only take me so far and there wasn't anyone to give me feedback or direction for even the easiest of matters. Not only is the learning process at Hablemos Spanish Language Academy fun and easy to follow, it is very affordable. In my case, my schedule is unorthodox and I chose their private classes. Also very affordable! What makes this learning experience even better is Jaime (Director and Founder). As soon as you meet Jaime, you know that his passion is to share and teach Spanish to anyone that has the desire to learn! Don't take my word for it, call them!

Jaime Pena, the owner and director, has put together an organized and well thought-out program that not only teaches you to speak the language but to know the grammar in detail so that you can read, write, translate and speak the language. All the teachers have a great way of relating the language so that you can easily remember it. They are very patient, kind knowledgeable. The Academy has a professional but fun atmosphere and I have loved learning there. I highly recommend this program to anyone.

Experiencia positiva: I started at Hablemos with no experience with Spanish other than barely starting Rosetta Stone. I feel I have really progressed with lessons over the last 8 months. I am at level 4 and am able to actually speak and think of things to say. The teachers are very nice, laid back and know how to teach. I would highly recommend it if you are self- motivated and really want to learn basic Spanish.
