Experiencia positiva: Quiero dejarles una sugerencia. Muchas veces los estudiantes internacionales recibimos el dinero desde nuestro país, por lo que giramos ese dinero en efectivo. Hoy fui a pagar y ya no está esa opción, tuve que ir al banco, estaba lleno… me quitó tiempo, cuando había disposición de hacer las cosas. Considérenlo de nuevo. Es expedito, sobre todo cuando tengan alumnos recién llegados o si tuvieron problemas con su tarjeta, banco o similares.

Experiencia fantástica: Uceda School is growing fast because it has been working hard to give students the best experience. Highly trained teachers , great curriculum and a very kind and supportive staff have made Uceda the best option in Utah.

Experiencia negativa: ESPAÑOL Mi experiencia en UCEDA Institute fue profundamente decepcionante y desorganizada. Asistí el lunes 5 de enero alrededor de las 5:40 p.m. únicamente para solicitar información. Sin embargo, la presentación fue tan insistente que terminé pagando ese mismo día y accediendo a realizar la evaluación, ya que se me indicó que las clases comenzaban ese mismo día. Tras realizar el pago, completé una evaluación escrita en una tablet y luego se me indicó escanear un código QR para ingresar a una lista de espera para el examen oral. Esperé pacientemente durante casi cuatro horas. Finalmente, alrededor de las 9:30 p.m., se me informó que el local estaba por cerrar y que debía retirarme sin haber completado la evaluación ni recibido la atención prometida. Solicité hablar con un responsable y se generó una conversación entre tres personas, incluidos directivos. Durante este diálogo, la conversación se desarrolló principalmente en inglés, a pesar de que una de las personas presentes no domina ese idioma. Considero esto una falta grave de respeto y profesionalismo, especialmente en una institución educativa dedicada a la enseñanza del idioma inglés. En ningún momento recibí una disculpa sincera ni empatía por el tiempo perdido. Por el contrario, se me indicó que esta escuela “no era para mí” y se ofreció devolverme el dinero, aun cuando yo no había solicitado un reembolso, sino únicamente completar la evaluación para no sentir que había perdido mi tiempo. Además, incluso el proceso de reembolso fue manejado incorrectamente: inicialmente solo se devolvió una parte del monto pagado y recién después de reclamar se reconoció el error y se procesó el reembolso completo. La infraestructura también deja mucho que desear: aulas pequeñas, sobrecarga de estudiantes y una sensación general de improvisación. No se trata del dinero, sino del trato, la desorganización y la falta de respeto hacia el tiempo y la dignidad de los estudiantes. Por estas razones, definitivamente no continuaré ni recomendaré esta institución. My experience at UCEDA Institute was deeply disappointing and poorly managed. I visited the school on Monday, January 5th around 5:40 p.m. only to request information. However, the presentation was so insistent that I ended up paying the same day and agreeing to take the evaluation, as I was told classes were starting that day. After paying, I completed a written evaluation on a tablet and was then instructed to scan a QR code to join a waiting list for the oral exam. I waited patiently for almost four hours. Around 9:30 p.m., I was informed the office was closing and that I needed to leave without completing the evaluation or receiving the promised attention. I requested to speak with a supervisor, and a conversation took place involving three people, including administrators. During this conversation, most of it was conducted in English, despite one of the people present not understanding the language. This is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, especially for an institution dedicated to teaching English. At no point did I receive a sincere apology or empathy for my time. Instead, I was told that this school “was not for me” and was offered a refund, even though I never requested my money back—I only wanted to complete the evaluation so I would not feel my time had been wasted. Even the refund process was mishandled. Initially, only part of the amount was refunded, and only after questioning it did they acknowledge the mistake and process the full refund. The infrastructure also appears improvised, with small classrooms and an excessive number of students. This is not about the money, but about poor treatment, disorganization, and lack of respect for students’ time and dignity. For these reasons, I will not continue nor recommend this institution.

Experiencia negativa: The worst They tell you that they’re gonna put you on a different place besides the people who is on a student visa which they’re just talking and playing with the phone if you wanna waste your money go ahead
