Experiencia fantástica: I just finished my course today, I studied at MLC for one year, from last March to this March. The classes were engaging and helpful, I want to sincerely thank all the teachers and staff for their guidance, support, and encouragement throughout my learning journey. I will always remember my time at MLC fondly.

There, I was able to do much more than just study the language, which, by the way, I noticed a very fast improvement. I also made friends from all over the world, and together we created a family through our shared learning experience. Experiencia fantástica: Taking classes at MLC is one of the best decisions I’ve made since coming to the U.S. Every class was meaningful and helpful, and all of the teachers truly tried to support me. I also enjoyed meeting classmates and making new friends from all over the world. It wasn’t just the classes that made the experience special—MLC also offers fun and thoughtful activities like weekend trips, lunch break games, and craft clubs such as crochet and cross-stitch. They also introduced local events like the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and Art Fair, which we could enjoy together. These moments helped me enjoy Ann Arbor even more. The people at MLC are incredibly caring. During outdoor activities, they always asked if I needed a ride. Since I’m pregnant, they frequently checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable, offering cushions or a better seat when needed. That kindness meant a lot to me. If you are looking for high-quality English education, a warm and supportive environment, and help adjusting to life in Ann Arbor, I truly recommend MLC.

Experiencia fantástica: Michigan Language Center (MLC) é uma escola de inglês para estrangeiros que pretendem aprender inglês como sua segunda língua. Fiz 6 sessões e pude notar uma melhoa muito significante no meu vocabulário, fluência na fala, escrita, leitura e entendimento ao ouvir conversas, filmes, progamas de TV e etc. O hambiente é muito agradável, todos alunos são muito gentis e receptivos. Os funcionários sempre atenciosos e dispostos a te ajudar no que for preciso. Gostei muito do material e dos professores pois eles abrangem muitas áreas em que cursos regulares de língua no Brasil não abrangem. Além da experiência de ficar imerso na cultura e na língua, também pude aprender muito sobre diversas culturas ao redor do mundo pois pude estudar com alunos de diversas nacionalidades. Aprender inglês não se limita em entender o que um nativo americano fala mas também os diferentes tipos de sotaques que outras nacionalidades possuem, assim como os brasileiros também tem. Super recomendo, além da qualidade de ensino as atividades que a escola proporciona são uma boa experiência.

Experiencia fantástica: When searching for a language solution for a team member of ours at Macro Connect, I found Michigan Learning Center. Their marketing materials helped me understand that their offerings were just right for us. They offer evening, small group classes, which was perfect for our colleague. The 5-course program crafted courses that are uniquely suited for people in corporate jobs - real life language skills they need to do their jobs. I know they offer more customized 1-1 options too, but this was perfect for us right now. They're great with communication, and you can just tell it's a solid program with great people running it. I highly recommend them for companies and non-profits looking to help them team members from other countries quickly gain better language skills for the workplace!

Experiencia fantástica: I was one of the students at MLC in their old location doing Spring & Summer 2016. I came from Saudi Arabia and I wasn’t know any word in English. However, the ways that teachers Sabrina, Josh, and Joly use to teach are just perfect, and with these perfect ways, they also used their body language to make sure that we were understanding. By the time, the students and I begin to learn so quickly, and I was not expected to be learned and got 5 in IELTS in less then a year. What also was really helped is that MLC provided a conversation partner who is a citizen from Ann Arbor. Therefore, I recommend MLC as a perfect language learning place. Experiencia fantástica: I learned a lot at MLC for about one year. Upon my moving to the U.S., I was looking for any good place where I can learn something and have good friends as well. MLC turned out to be a perfect one for people like me! All the coordinators and instructors always encourage us stepping forward and they provide not only quality classes but also many activities. One of the best points is we can take classes both in person and online. Thanks to this, I could consistently participate even when I spent a few weeks in my country. Besides, students are coming from literally all over the world, so I could feel full of diversity through any interaction. Even after finishing my studying there, I have a really rich relationship with others and MLC family. I highly recommend this place to start your journey in the States.

They provide me a good environment to study, and they try their best to lead us pratice our English, such as many different types of conversation. By the way, they hold a lot of extracurricular activities. I didn't have any friends at the first when I came to U.S, but I have a lot of friends now. I like MLC.

It was an amazing experience for me with each friendly MLC staff, professional and patient teachers, and lovely classmates! I never thought I could finish lots of things required for becoming a Registered Nurse in the US before I came to MLC. But since I was here, my life has been changing every day in every possible way. MLC is magic! Just want to say, never wait until the time when you feel much ready to use English either at workplace or in English speaking countries. Experiencia positiva: My instructor was great and the staff were very friendly. They offered various activities online and webinars and I especially liked the writing assessment and impromptu webinar. I enjoyed the experience at MLC overall, but I still felt the tuition was expensive compared to other ESL classes. If the tuition had been lower, I would have taken more classes.

They create many free occasions like parties, tours, conversation clubs, pronunciation seminars, and so on. The classes are helpful to improve English and I like business clubs and career seminar very much. They made study and training plans for my specific traits, and had taught me a lot of knowledge and experience I would never learnt from school itself. Experiencia fantástica: My company works with MLC to have all our international employees join their custom sessions for language improvement. MLC is awwwwsome! We had so much good experience with them. They customized lessons based on our needs and our requests. Their class is not just about learning but having fun! In the class, you play, you laugh, you practice, and you learn! Unlike any of the traditional education, their education focuses on experience and happiness. Out of class, MLC keeps building connections and friendships with us. We went out to a bar to learn about American culture and talk about funny circumstances we bumped into. We had dinner at their place together to meet new friends from different countries. We took them to new bubble tea place to share our culture back in China. It is just so much fun to be with them!

The school has been in operation for over 40 years and they have developed a culture all their own. My conversation practice with the students is the highlights of my week; the students all have a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences, and they all share the love of language and a desire to improve their skills. The school's programs cover the full range of abilities from young beginners right up to professionals working on accent mitigation. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve studied in the chool for half a year. I made great strides on my English acquisition through my hardwork and classes in MLC. I highly recommend it to English learners. The classes are very good organized, you won’t feel bored, the materials they chose for class are usually interesting. We have presentations to do every session.I love doing presentations, have fun and challenges. we also have lots tests, sometimes stressful, but are beneficial to us.

Now that I’m going to transfer in university I started my initial steps of success at the MLC .

Experiencia fantástica: Durante mi estancia en Ann Arbor este verano, me apunté a clases en MLC - y ha sido una gran experiencia. Los profesores que he conocido son geniales, todo el personal es muy simpático y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar. Además, de vez en cuando se organizan actividades fuera de horario lectivo en las que se pasa genial. También hay un club de voluntarios que permite a quien lo desee aportar su granito de arena a la comunidad local mediante actividades de todo tipo. Pero lo que más me ha impactado personalmente ha sido la gente con la que me he topado en esta escuela: es un lugar muy diverso donde todos los continentes están presentes. Los amigos que he podido hacer y las experiencias que he tenido han hecho que este sea un verano fantástico. Puede que MLC sea un poco caro, pero los recuerdos que me llevo de él no tienen precio.

It was decisive for the good performance that my daughter has had as a midle school student. She has just graduated from 8th grade with honors! My own experience at the MLC has also been excellent. The private classes with Gail have been extremely pleasant and very useful in the preparation of my lectures at the University of Michigan.
