Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful school with excellent curriculum and experienced teachers. I have taken French and Spanish classes with the Language Academy of the Carolinas and have completed several levels in each course both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Every instructor has been wonderful and I am extremely impressed at how well the school transitioned from in-person to online/virtual sessions. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you really want to learn a new language and have it stick with you then this is the school for you!

The Language Academy was thorough, thoughtful, and friendly; the instructors were native speakers, and were incredibly patient. Love this place!

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with teacher Julie Green via Zoom over the summer. She was lovely!! Very informative and through during class. She did not waste any time and also put in the extra time after class. She sent me recordings and notes that were taken during class to help us with our Chinese homework.

Our instructor is excellent - very capable and patient with our “southern” Mandarin - and the Academy has been great at accommodating our particular scheduling needs. Highly recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: A few years ago I had the pleasure of taking Spanish classes at the Language Academy near where I live (University), and I was pleased with the material used to teach. As of matter of fact, I still have the course material today, just in case I need to review. The facility is sufficient, and all the teachers that I had were native speakers and extremely friendly.

Experiencia fantástica: My son took online private Spanish lessons with the Language Academy to improve his skills over the summer after taking one year of Spanish in high school. He says his teacher, Alexandra, is "super great." She came up with lots of creative approaches to get him speaking Spanish and learning new vocabulary. He's really been challenged and he says his Spanish has improved a lot. He likes sharing Spanish words for things around the house and trying out new phrases. Alexandra has really connected with him on a personal level, too, introducing her dog on screen and making their lessons fun. My son has definitely gained in confidence and ability with the language. It's been a terrific learning experience!

They focus not only on the structure of the language, but also on the cultural aspects involved which is crucial in the learning process.

The curriculum is extremely well written and taking one language course with the Academy helped my Spanish improve by leaps and bounds. If I were still living in the area I would continue to take courses with them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

They have the best instructors and the classes are upbeat fun. The school does international trips almost every year and they are fantastic! I've been to Spain twice and am headed to Costa Rica next year. I've met the best friends since joining the school. Sign up, you won't be disappointed.

The Language Academy has been the perfect place to do so - the placement test allowed me start back at a comfortable level, and the classes are a nice blend of "textbook" learning and classroom conversation.

There is a logical path you follow so you are learning different concepts while working on your verbal skills simultaneously. I have attended classes off and on there for 10 years, and still learn something new every time I go :)
