FIU English Language Institute

Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to share my experience in FIU English Language Institute. I started my English classes in January and finished in July. I feel comfortable speaking English now. I remember my first day here in the USA; I couldn't understand or speak English. But after attending my English classes, I noticed a big difference. I can now speak and read comfortably, thanks to the great teachers at FIU.

Experiencia fantástica: The best. 100% recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: It's really useful. Actually, for many English learning foreigner, speaking is hard because they don't speak a lot. They don't know what to say in one specific situation. But, this course give us a many different topics and situations to talk about which we can use in our other daily conversation. By the way, you don't need to worry about what to say because we have many kinds of activities provided by the teacher. After two-weeks course, you will find out you have improved a lot.

Experiencia fantástica: I enrolled in two terms at ELI when I arrived to Miami. It is a top place to learn English. Their outstanding professors, especially Professor Larry Herde, create a perfect environment to improve your skills. There are 6 different levels, so you are placed with peers of similar level. You practice grammar, vocabulary, writing, and communication, so you are totally prepared to pass exams like TOEFL or GRE. Furthermore, the labs sessions are really helpful, for they use superb applications to improve by your own. I passed my TOEFL exam with a score of 109 after assisting to the ELI. In addition, they prepared a lot of amazing activities, including significative national days, so you are understanding Miami's culture while you learn. Finally, the student's different background allows you to learn from other cultures and find amazing people. I totally recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: Being part of ELI was one of the best experiences of my life, there I had the opportunity to improve my English and meet people from all over the world. The ELI Team are incredible, kind, attentive and welcoming. Teachers are fully dedicated to helping students have the best learning experience. Besides that, the events are very cool and a different way to learn, practice the language and make new friends. Studying at ELI is an experience you will never forget!
